Garden of Life | Sport Organic Plant-Based Protein Bar | 12 Count | Peanut Butter Chocolate

As someone who has gluten and dairy intolerances, finding a protein bar that I did not have to force myself to eat and one that would fit my athletic lifestyle--for macros--was extremely difficult.Until, low and behold, I found this bar. I have tried the peanut butter/chocolate and the chocolate fudge thus far. The fudge was too dense and bland for me, but the pb/chocolate is to die for. I have ordered them 5 times now, and they are a perfect after-workout snack that gets me going in the mornings.The only downside of this product is that GOL seems to constantly want to change it. When I first ordered the bars, the pb portion was smooth and contained no chunks, and was 280 calories. Now when I order them, the pb contains some nutty chunks throughout the bar, and is 290 calories and the macros are a bit different. However, every time I input this product into a calorie/macro-counting app, it comes up with the original macros and the 280 calories.I am unsure if it was a misprint on GOL, or who knows.Regardless, the taste is delicious and the macros work well with my intolerances.Highly recommend:)

Garden of Life has apparently stopped making these. I loved them and looked forward to starting my day with this yummy protein bar (20 g). I wish they'd reconsider making them. If you see any, grab them. Youll be so happy you did. I'm going through one protein bar after the other now on the search to find a substitute. So far, it doesn't seem to exist.

Lots of vitamins and minerals packed into these. The taste is good, too. Store them somewhere at room temperature though. Don't refrigerate them or they'll get super hard. Don't put them in your pocket or they'll melt.All that said, they're tasty, nutritious, and can fill you up.

I found these when looking for a protein bar that does not use soy-based protein, has healthy ingredients, tastes good, and is available at a decent price. Got these today, and the taste is actually pretty good for a protein bar (I got the chocolate peanut butter). They are also not overly sweet, but it would be nice if a darker chocolate was used, which is healthier and would cut down the sugar a bit. My one issue is that they were under $20 when purchased, and the price jumped about 25% right after ordering. I would purchase these on a regular basis at the lower price, but otherwise will look for alternatives.*** See comment for Important Updates on safety !!

Love the chocolate peanut butter. They're tasty, but not tasty enough for me to want to eat more than one a day 😆. Some protein bars are TOO delish know what I mean?I also love that it a complete amino acid profile. Awesome for fitness! Decent ingredients I feel good about.

I've tried MANY protein bars over the years, and have basically boiled it down to just TWO brands, one of them being these Garden of Life Organic Sport Protein Bars. Note that they also come in a smaller size - so DO be careful that you order the size bar you want. I've tried the chocolate fudge and chocolate peanut butter bars and both are DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I start every day with a cup of tea and share one of these bars. On days of calorie restriction (twice a week), this bar gets us through the day it is so satisfying and tasty. The bars are dense but NOT rubbery! Each bite is as delicious as a nasty-good truffle, no kidding.

I'm not sure but some of these reviews seem off. Like the pictures of some giant clump of something. Mine never looked like that and they taste great... I recommend if you're unsure of trying a box go to a store and buy one to sample.I really like these bars. They've made them with good ingredients (if all true lol) and sometimes they're good just as a snack. Big fan of GOL. Will try their fit bars next.Update: It seems as if something has changed from the last couple boxes I had to this one. Not sure what it is. The PB&chocolate taste great and seem filling. Still a big fan.
