HOMEBRITE 144″ 12 ft Outdoor Multi-Color LED Cone Tree with Collapsible Base with Wireless Remote 61501 for Holiday and Christmas Light Decorations

I'm giving the product a 3. It was a 5+ out of the box. Went to negative 1000 after only a day where some light strands went out completely while other strands had dimming blubs mixed with normal bright bulbs. I'm back to 3 as I got the lights to work (for now). I reached out via Q/A above. Sorry, HomeBrite faulty circuit board isn't a troubleshooting answer. Also, it was happening on 2 out of 3 brand new trees-No help! I invited the 2 owners to accept my LinkedIn invites thinking I could be routed to the right people-No response-No help! I sent multiple emails requests to their customer service website-No response-No help! I tried calling...No help. Basically, anything HomeBrite related has been bad. Thankfully, there are quite a few posts and forums (outside of Amazon) to read re helping thru issues. You have to search but they exist. I had to: Take all the lights down and completely redo. Had to take the power transformers into my house and place near a heating vent for warmth and extracting humidity from the plugs. Had to ensure all the trees (we bought 3) had their own dedicated power cord. Make sure no kinks existed in the LED strands leading to the lights as well as the stars on top. Finally, had to electrical tape all the plugs and powerpacks to provide decent protection from weather events and normal am dew. PRO-they look killer and are unique from the norm. CON-you're on your own with any issues. We'd likely buy again but as a last resort. SUGGESTIONS-buyer beware and register for warranty (although I haven't heard back from that Department either)

Do not buy!! Absolute junk. Cannot believe we wasted $350 on this! First night it worked great, by the third night this is what it looked like. So disappointed, especially after spending so much money. Very quickly lights started to fade and then stopped working altogether. For this price you would think it would last for years, but nope, just a cheap piece of trash. Shame on you for selling such junk!

Very happy with this item. It is as described in the product literature. Easy to assemble, 20-30 minutes from box opening to plug in. The only tools required are a 5mm hex wrench which is included. Appears to be quality construction that will last many years if properly cared for. The design is well thought out, packaging was very good to protect the item. Light modes are great, remote works well if you are in range as described in the product literature and no, it's not going to work from 50' away through your front window. The power lead is roughly 25' long (estimated), so plenty for most applications. It's quite stable, the three included u-shaped stakes do a pretty good job of securing it but I did add additional 10" L-top tent stakes over each of the tree support struts where they join the base. If this blows over I would expect it quite likely the star would get broken off or other damage could occur. Better to add additional stakes or sand bags to the base to make sure it doesn't get blown over. Definitely not an inexpensive item but I think in this case you get what you pay for. Spare parts were also included. If you needed additional clips or springs beyond what are supplied as spares these would be easy to find a the local hardware store. Hoping to get many years of service out of this, I guess time will tell.

We installed the Homebrite Solar 144" 12 ft Outdoor Multi-Colored LED Cone Tree on our outdoor deck. It worked brilliantly until the day it rained, then over half of the lights shorted out. We disassembled the tree and brought it indoors to dry out. Within two days, close to 90% of the lights started working again. On the third day, 100% of the lights worked. We tried it outside a second time, and, naturally, as soon as it rained close to two-thirds of the lights shorted out.Homebright sent us a free replacement tree. We installed it as per instructions on Saturday, 19DEC2020. The new tree worked perfectly until it rained at about 4:00PM (we live in the Seattle, WA area where we get a fair amount of rain). A little over three hours later, at 7:38PM, half of the lights had shorted out, and a third of the remainder "blinked" on and off indicating they were shorted (see attached photos).This is a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT DESIGN and cannot be used outdoors in inclement weather. It's a shame because we and our neighbors loved the look of the trees before they shorted out. Others have rated this product with five stars. If you look at the most recent posted on December 2, 2020, you'll notice that that tree is sitting on an outdoor deck in the DESERT where it doesn't rain!Sadly, both trees are being returned.

Set this tree up yesterday. This tree frame is well built, easy to setup and looks great. Some nice features: Every light strand has springs on each end to keep the wire tight so you don't get any sagging. All the plugs have a plastic screw cap to keep it from becoming unplugged and will help keep water out of the connectors. The three steaks that came with it seam to be long enough to do the job and will not require using extra tent steaks.

The second time I put the tree up about 7 lamps were out on various strands.I contacted the manufacturer for replacement strands and was willing to purchase these.The manufacturer ignored my many requests, so I gave up.Stay away unless you don't mind spending $350.00 for a disposable tree or don't mind the dark spots.I wish the manufacturer treated customers better.When it works it's really stunning.

I'm giving it three stars because it seems to be made of decent materials. However, 3 of the strands have already stopped working. The place where they connect to the incoming electricity is in a metal housing at the top of the tree. Fixing is not going to be fun!
