It's a Hit!
The media could not be loaded. Just got it today and my cats love it. The 16 year old and the 5 and 6 month old kittens equally. I started it out on fast, but they just watched it. When I put it on slow, that's when they became interested. It's great to see my 16 y/o boy enjoying playing without having to chase something - arthritis. He's actually monopolizing it. I like the fact that if they catch the mouse, it will continue to move after they let it go; it doesn't jam the toy. It takes 3 AA batteries, and the noise, to me, is minimal. Great purchase.

pretty indestructible
I have a young Maine coon cat who is active all of the time. He loves this toy. He discovered fairly early that he could catch the mouse and chew on it, and if he pulled hard enough, remove it from the toy. I was afraid that was the end of this toy, but the plastic mouse is mounted on a strong metal shaft that can easily be reinserted and is just as hard for him to pull out as the first time. I have reinserted that mouse every day since it was delivered, and it still works!!! He also likes the carpet scratch pad on the top and frequently can be seen sleeping on it. Well, his head on it- the rest of him definitely doesn't fit. So - I ended up buying another one and storing it because he loves this so much that he will eventually break it.

My picky cat was fascinated
The media could not be loaded. I’ve wasted money before on toys that were supposed to be stimulating and my cat had no interest. This one is different. She sat and thought about it, moved in, got too close, went under the bed, and came back to stretch out by it. Complete success. And I sat fascinated by her reactions the whole time. As far as the speeds go, I only used slow, which was more than adequate to initially intrigue her but not startle her. Based on materials and design I think the price point should be lower but I’m not taking any stars away because this toy did something no other toy could do — it entertained her.

DO NOT BUY! PAW CAN EASILY GET STUCK AND INJURE YOUR CAT!
DO NOT BUY!There are gaps in the top for the mouse to move along its path, your cat's paws/legs can EASILY get stuck in these gaps when reaching for the mouse through the holes. Took less than a few hours of ownership for this to happen - while it's an entertaining toy, I never want to hear those screams from my cat again! Writing this while at the vet to get her paw checked since she won't put any weight on it. Glad I have insurance!

but for the price you can’t beat it and it’s great for indoor cats
The media could not be loaded. My cat loves to play with this! It took her a few minutes to warm up to it, but now she loves chasing the mouse. Even when I turn it off she still tries to find the mouse. The noise is a little louder than expected, but for the price you can’t beat it and it’s great for indoor cats!

Great toy but like anything automatic use only while supervised.
I got this for my cats because they were so bored that they started to bite on my cords around the house. I have two male Maine coonsboth 7 years old. One boy was scared of it because of the slight wiring noise the motor makes (very quite compared toany kids and cats toys) my other boy however loves it! He played with it for a good hour before he got mildly bored of it and went of to find another adventure, but he then came back to it later and I was able to get a video of him playing. This is a toy I would use only while supervised as stated above in comments I was worried my cats pawmight get stuck, so far I have had no issues and there seems to be a feature that prevents he mouse from moving forward when the cat has caught it as it pulls back rather then driving into the cats paw more.

A mouse in the house? Oh my!!
This toy totally mesmerized my 8-year old cat who is pretty much bored with most anything except the occasional actual fly that makes its way into our New York City high rise apartment. Now THAT'S exciting! We knew she would tire of it so to preserve the novelty we only doled it out for short periods of time. She did play with it for a good while when it was new to her; less and less over time. Now we hide it and bring it out as a treat every now and then. We're happy to have anything that will help to distract her from the sameness of her everyday life as a pretty but slightly overfed house cat!

Stalking and pouncing
My 2 yr old cats are bored. I bought this toy - arrived yesterday. They went into 7th heaven. The boy (who is part Bengal) can find it no matter where I put it away. The girl is much more lowkey and prefers Tailey - a toy I must wave. But she likes the mouse as well - but not when he is watching her. My boy is thrilled. I have only tried it on slow and when they are more jaded I will let it go onto fast; but this is a winner. They are our first indoor cats and I know they get frustrated. I would say to anyone give it a try, especially with kittens or young cats. Made well; is not flimsy. Someone said it wasn't "pretty" -not a requirement for cats. So far it's 5 star !!

is soothing and easily becomes white noise
The media could not be loaded. One of my cats loves this toy. She stares at it intently whenever it is turned on and tries to paw at the little mouse. It takes 3 AA batteries and I find that it lasts for hours. I also never worry about turning it on and leaving the house since everything is so self contained. The motor, while not whisper quiet, is soothing and easily becomes white noise. The other cat likes to watch the mouse move around but is never compelled enough to pounce.

Quickly adored toy!
Put the toy on slow to begin with and my kitten watched it from a distance very unsure. Took her about 10 minutes to realise she could play and now we can't get her to stop! We've turned the speed up to fast and she loves it.The toy is quite small. The pictures might show a full grown cat lying across it but check the measurements for size otherwise you might be surprised. My older cat didn't want to play but enjoyed watching it move. He is far more sedate but the sounds and movement were very engaging.

Blame the cat, not the toy
One cat is terrified of it, he has a near on heart attack and dives out of the room if I even pick it up and it’s off. The other one attacks it with gusto and wants to play with it constantly. Even when she’s tired she likes to just watch it. Cats. Adorable weirdos.

Love it
This toy is a hit with one cat in particular. The other gets occasional entertainment out of it but the lad can't get enough of it! I'm glad it's not as noisy as I thought too. The track inside does make sound, but it's a simple smooth rolling sound that doesn't annoy; it pretty much fades into the background when I'm watching TV or doing other stuff. Nice and sturdy and also fairly intuitive with play, as the lad sticks his paws in a lot and grabs at the mouse and it doesn't push against him or jam his paws in there; although for safety's sake I still wouldn't leave the cats alone with it on for overlong (I probably could, but would rather not). It's a gentle but sturdy mechanism. Honestly don't see a huge difference between slow and fast settings but the slight difference is enough for the lad to let me know which he'd prefer in a particular moment. Sometimes one setting will grab his attention more than another. A kitten could easily sit in the middle of it and watch the mouse go around, but grown cats can definitely enjoy this toy from the sides. I've bought a few automatic toys for the cats that haven't always been worth it but this is definitely a winner.

Playtime fun
This was a hit with both my cats, keeps them entertained for quite some time! I little noisy but as long as they’re having fun then that doesn’t matter really. I would recommend buying this for sure
