Works just like a pocket clip should...
Quality is good. It's not flimsy. Very light weight. Small. If you are buying it for a space pen it fits right on so very easy installation. I got mine for a small titanium pen so I had to adjust the two tines buy squeezing. Worked perfect. I also have the gold on anouther pen and it has held up great. The matte black does seem to wear easy. It's a good value for the price.

It works
I should have bought my Fisher Bullet pen with this clip in the first place but I didn't. Well, I bought this and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I feel silly having delayed buying this for so many years. Really handy if you have those shirt pockets with built-in pen slots (common in uniforms) as the clip prevents the small pen from going too far down. Not a big deal, but inconvenient and this clip solves it.It goes on easily and stays put. Does exactly what it says. Maybe a little pricey, but if you are using more than a disposable pen then you know you aren't buying it for the economy but because you like it. Liking has very little to do with logic.

Problem solved!
The Waterman Hemisphere has a design flaw relating to the pocket clip. They break at the base with regular use. This clip fit perfectly and looks great. Very happy with this product.

Excellent clip for Space pen, but...
This is an excellent clip for your fisher Space Pen (Astronaut Pen)It's super grippy and doesn't move once it's in place. The only issue is the price. For $8 there should be 2 (or even 3). Especially considering that you can buy the pen new with the clip for almost the exact same price as the pen without the clip. But it works exactly as it should.

But if you are I suggest you use a piece of fine grit sandpaper in the jaws of your plier to ...
I received the gold clip today. I ordered it for a pocket screwdriver that the clip had broken off of. It was not that difficult to expand. I used a bent needle nose pliers to hold one curved end and something to pry it open with (specifically the blunt end of a paramedic scissors). You will have to do this twice as when you pry it open, only one end bends and then you have to switch sides and do the same thing to the other, if you want to have a uniform looking clip. The pliers did marr the surface of the clip. I was not that concerned with that I just needed something to keep it from falling out of my pocket. But if you are I suggest you use a piece of fine grit sandpaper in the jaws of your plier to get a hold of the clip and then try bending it. The clip is very sturdy, definitely gold-colored. The angled jimping ( knife terminology ) on either side of the clip is uniform precise and quite attractive. It is definitely made out of spring steel, it springs back quite nicely. If you have to buy a replacement clip for any of your pens or pocket tools this will do quite well.

Good color match with the raw brass bullet pen.
Standard clip for space pens. They will slide a bit. Good for preventing rolling away. Good to clip in a bag or pen holder. Good color match with the raw brass, pictured.Update. After a while I noticed that it rusted. My raw brass space pen will tarnish but not rust, but the clip was rusting on the underside. Would be nice to have a clip in a higher quality material.

Space Pen Clip. (sorry for the subpar pic)
I love it. I never thought to add a clip to my chrome bullet space pen so it has been relegated to the dark recesses of our junk drawer because it would always roll off whatever surface it was laid on. It arrived when when expected and my first thought was "couldn't they find a bigger bag? Lol. It came in a bag that was a little bigger than an 8.5x11 pad of paper and you can see how big the clip is. There wasn't an option to choose anything different but fear not! We refuse about 90-95%of packaging we get to send things like gifts for the kids or grandkids. Although no instructions were included , installing it on the pen was extremely simple. I slide it down from the top and using a soft cloth to protect the finish of the pen, I used the thin edge on my Leatherman tool to tap it down. It hasn't loosened in 3 days of doing a couple of crosswords, falling asleep and having it drop out of my hand twice. So far I'm very happy. No more rolling away and time will tell if it's going to hang on tightly.Tony C

Fix your Parker Pen with it
No idea how it works on Fisher Space Pens. Never liked those myself, way too much drag on the paper, and I've yet to find myself writing upside down, underwater, or in zero gravity with enough frequency to warrant carrying one around. But I digress.I use this clip to fix busted Parker Pens. Parker pens write real smooth, but their asinine, proprietary, signature arrow-shaped pen clips invariably get caught on something and bend out to the point where you can't keep the pen clipped to a pocket anymore.Fisher Space Pen Clip to the rescue. If you're using a Vector or Jotter sized pen, just bend that crappy Parker clip up until it snaps off, and slide this guy over it instead. Works like a charm. Got a good 20 years out of a stainless steel Vector Rollerball that way. A+!
