Complete Book of Grade K Paperback – January 15, 2015

This is quite a wonderful book if you know what you are getting. Don’t expect a full curriculum that’ll teach your hold everything they need to know for Kindergarten. This isn’t a homeschool curriculum.What this is however is an awesome companion book in addition to regular school classes.I have a special ed little one who needs a lot of reinforcement of information. I use this book during vacation times and she absolutely loves it.She gets frustrated easily and then refuses to do anything because of her confidence lacking.This book is reinforcing what they’re teaching her in school and because of that she can actually do the tasks (with verbal help and constant attention).If your child is a regular school kid, they may be able to do this with less assistance and they shouldn’t be bored or overwhelmed. Since I know what they teach in K now that the year is over and I have literally every page she has ever put a pencil to, I would say this is a perfect addition.Want to counter the (scientifically proven) shutdown and reversion over the summer? Do a page a page a day per subject and your child will be ahead of his/her peers who didn’t do a thing and forgot half of K by the time 1st grade starts.

Love this series of learning books. An awesome booster to what the children learn in school. Love using this on the weekends.

We are using this series of books to prepare our two grandsons for school. They love using these books for their daily "school"sessions.

Good product, thick colorful sturdy pages! Can’t wait to start our at home learning program with my child!

This book was excellent product that helped keep my kids busy over summer and ready for the next school year.

I'm using this book with my bright pre-kindergartner, but I'm finding that it's too basic. This book is for Kindergarten, but I think it's really for kids entering Pre-K, as it doesn't offer much other than standard writing letter practice, very basic (maybe nonexistent) math, learning you colors, shapes, finding differences and similarities, sounds, money, and time. It's not terrible, but it's more of a supplemental book to ANOTHER good kindergarten book, not as good as the Big Kindergarten Book or the Scholastic Success for Kindergarten. Honestly, I would skip on this book if you have a true kindergartner. Pages are bright and colorful, printed on thick paper, and perforated. Comes with basic sticker stash, and poster is just numbers and the written word numbers. It's a good poster chart, but not great because it doesn't include letters. I've stopped using it with my son, but will pick through a couple more pages before tossing it. It's really not what I was looking for.

Ordered these books for my pre school last year. It was a great find and so I ordered them again.
