What is the width of the glass? Description says 1 inch, but no way is that correct.

The width of the top of the glass is 3 inches or 3 1/16th inches by my measurement. The glass that makes the walls is very, very thin glass if my measuring is correct about 1/64th inch (not a typo. I used a precision ruler).

Do these glasses have a thick bottom? My riedel's from a few years ago do.
