Cuts big dognails like butter
It's actually quite sharp and heavy duty. Trimmed my pups nails effortlessly. I would also advise use with caution on those hard to tell black nails for the same reason.

Worse clippers I've ever used.
They're sharp and cut well, but I wouldn't ever use these. I gave up after cutting 1 nail on one dog and I didn't even bothering with my other dog due to the poor way this was designed and how difficult it is to use:1. The grip is nearly double the width than any other nail clippers I've used and it makes it very difficult and uncomfortableto hold. Personally, I want a grip on clippers while they're in the open position so I'm not having to struggle with keeping the clippers open with the tips of my fingers while also trying to get my dogs nail inside the opening.2. The metal tab that has the sole purpose of locking the clippers when they're not in use, is so loose and unable to be tightened, it falls and locks the clippers every time you close it. So you have to let go of your dog, so that you can use both hands to unlock the clippers between each clip! The clippers and the file. I think they may be giving the clippers 2 different names, I'm not sure what the point of that would be, but the way the packaging is marked, it looks like this would contain 3 products. If they're calling them scissors because you can remove the metal tab that prevents you from cutting too much of the nail off, well, literally every other company that I've seen and also bought from, only call them clippers and don't give it 2 names whether they have that metal tab or not. The labeling is weird and misleading.

Dog Gone Nails
I bought this mostly just for the clippers, not the file. The file, to me, is generic. Not very good on bigger dogs with bigger nails. However, the clippers do exactly what they should do. The also have a lock to lock it closed, however, this lock comes up all of the time and I have to shake it to get it to come down, since my other hand is holding my dogs paw. If it weren't for that I would have rated it 5 stars.

Definitely get these!
These clippers showed up fast and are great quality! I have never had luck cutting my dogs nails but these make it so easy.
