Works well, but you gotta mean it
I managed to get this replaced, but for anyone who comes after me I will say: use the tools you got with the original filtration system and CRANK the top of the canister to get the old filter out. I was initially afraid I was gonna damage it, but by the end I was ready to gnaw it open, so don’t be shy when you’re pulling on it. It works beautifully and the tightness of the system is actually kinda reassuring since it means that I’m unlikely to have a flood under my sink. To sum up: kind of a pain, but works nicely

My Drinking Water is Much Better
The Frizzlife PLC10 water filter makes our drinking water palatable and much clearer. I can't find out what chemicals it will actually filter out, though. It would help if the company would publish that information since we have been warned against some chemicals in our city water. I am also finding some minute particles in the bottom of a glass of water. I suspect they are coming from the filter.

This was my first filter replacement for my Frizzlife filter, easy replacement. Almost no difference in water pressure.

Hit or miss replacement filter
I bought the replacement filter after the one we had for a year started tasting off. I was glad the original filter lasted a year.The replacement filter lasted only two months till the taste was moldy tasting. I am disappointed. We definitely did not go through a ton of water.I don't know about this. I am sceptical on getting a replacement so soon.
