This glass is sophisticated and does help wine to open due to the wide surface area it creates. It is a large goblet, and looks elegant. There are several versions of this to match the designed varietal and I was pleased to find that Riedel engraves the appropriate type on the base by the branding. Subtle, but helpful if you get multiple types.

El producto llegó muy bien (Hay que tener extremo cuidado al sacarlas), se ven muchos comentarios de gente quejándose porque se rompieron al sacarlas... Y puedo ver el porqué, aunque un producto así forzosamente debe llevar un empaque sumamente completo.Se perciben maravillosamente elegantes y muy, muy frágiles... Son copas diseñadas para usarse en ocasiones especiales, ya que de usarse todos los días... no durarán.

Wonderful glassware, worth every penny.
Comes perfectly packaged - you could drop this from an airplane and it wouldn't break.As a wine glass, high class; appears a bit fragile due to the size and the thinness, but it's held up so far.Remember, these are BIG, and I don't think you want them anywhere near a dishwasher.
