This stuff is GREAT!
Shellac is a UV light cured gel polish that lasts about two weeks. This color is more of a pearly golden tone and not pink. It looks very natural and sparkles for quite some time. I find that one coat of polish, well applied, is fine. I have used OPI's Axxium gel polish and it destroyed my nails. I now use Shellac. One item of mention is that to remove you need to use an acetone nail "wrap" for about 20 min to get the polish to come off easily. I make my own "wraps" by soaking cotton balls with acetone, placing the ball on my nail and covering with a 4 inch square of aluminum foil. Wait 20 minutes and the polish peels off like magic with no nail damage. Although this system takes more time compared to regular polish, it is long wearing under harsh conditions. The only reason you can't get more than two weeks out of a single coat of polish is because your nails will grow out.

lasted on nails almost a week
I was hoping this would last 2 weeks as I heard many people say it would. It lasted about 5-6 days on me which is much better that regular polish. I"m very rough with polish and spend many hours in the pool every week and am very active so I'm glad it lasted as long as it did. Used it with the " Thermal Spa" light and am quite happy with it. My nails are growing and not breaking as they did before.

Another great Shellac color
I love using Shellac, and this color is beautiful. ***As always, try to find a swatch of the nail color on an actual finger nail, or other surface (a google search of "Shellac swatch ___color____" will give you a good start). I have found that the bottle color on CND polishes is almost always a little different from the actual color of the polish inside. Iced Cappuccino is a little more brown than the bottle would indicate.

Not up to par with other CND Shellac colors...
I purchased the 'iced cappuccino' shade of shellac after purchasing several other colors with my UV light and having great success with them. I have to say that the iced cappuccino does NOT behave the same way as the other shellac colors I have used. It is metallic, and for some reason because of this is very thick in the bottle and difficult to paint with - even after 2 minutes of vigorous shaking. Once on the nail it looks very streaky. I am so disappointed with this color and will not be using it. I'm glad it wasn't my first shellac color purchase or it would have ruined the whole system for me. Shellac is amazing - but stay away from this color if you want a professional looking manicure. (I own and have used the following colors with great success: VIP gold status, Romantique, Cocoa, Iced Coral, and Decadence.)

Not the longest lasting color shellac
This iced cappuccino shade is a very metallic, almost gold, shade. Although I wasn't sure about the color on its own, I thought it might layer nicely. So far, I haven't found that to be true. (For starters, layering shellac colors isn't as easy as it sounds!) In addition, this particular color lasts only around 1 week, versus the 10-14 days I can get out of other shellac colors, like hot chilis.

Great product, but ruinous to my nails
Shellac is a terrific product that does just what it's supposed to do -- it stays on for 2 weeks easily, with no chips whatsoever. Unfortunately it is so non-porous that it completely starved my nails of oxygen during those two weeks. I used it once, and it took my nails almost 6 months to recover -- they looked like I had dipped them in acid after my manicurist removed the Shellac. My manicurist has forbidden me from using it (or any other gel polish) ever again. I was very disappointed, as it's such a durable, long-lasting polish; for me, however, the convenience wasn't worth the resulting damage.

I do it at home myself, as it's so much easier than gel, and fake.
CND Shellac is the only way to go on my nails. It lets them breathe. You should see how healthy and shiny my nails are when removed properly. I also still am in because my nails last 3 to 4 weeks without scratches, etc. My toenails just grow on out. They are lasting 2 months or so! WONDERFUL, you have got to try this!

love it!
I love this color. The picture isn't quite the same as the shade. It comes out more of a sparkly nude color with a hint of pinkish brown. I was disappointed it didn't come out like the picture but I enjoy the shade it didn't cure as.
