Paper thin and feels super weird on bare feet. Pattern is nice but it’s seriously like kiwi skin but oddly prickly.

I have had this rug for about 2 weeks now and would have given it a better rating because it is beautiful, fits the space great and feels comfortable but have you tried to vacuum it? It gets sucked up into the vacuum and the vacuum doesn’t glide easily over the rug. I haven’t tried washing it yet.

This was my first “washable” rug so I wasn’t aware that it would feel more like a very heavy blanket rather than a traditional rug. I bought it for my daughter’s room, she chose it for the pattern and it is very pretty. But it doesn’t feel nice on bare feet and it is really difficult to vacuum (I have to turn the brush head off and turn the suction down as far as it can go in order to vacuum without sucking up the rug). It was shipped folded and even after a week and a half creases are still very evident. I purchased a 1/2” rug pad to use under in for added cushion and has helped to straighten out the creases a little, but not all the way. I haven’t needed to wash it yet so I have no opinion on it’s ability to be machine washed, but based on the feeling of the rug, I don’t think I would buy one like this again.

I wanted to love this rug because of it being machine washable, but sadly it’s the worst area rug I have ever owned. Each time I vacuum it snags more and more, it doesn’t not vacuum well at all, it has a weird feel and it’s like Velcro, it’s hard to suck up anything at all including lint with the vacuum. Because of the snagging from vacuuming, I am afraid to wash it, it’s hard to tell what would happen to it in the wash. Also the middle crease never left either, that’s a lil annoying. Very sad about it!
