for making a wonderful versatile product
My dog has earned her AKC Novice Trick Dog Title. She is now preparing to take the test for the Intermediate Title. One of the tasks she must perform is caring a basket for 15'. Previously, anything she has picked up has had a round handle. Unfortunately, I only found one basket that was the right size for her and it has a flat handle. No matter what I did, she just would not take the handle in her mouth. I couldn't figure out how I was going to convert the handle. The wicker is weaved into to basket base as well as being stapled. I was thinking about a golf grip but the tapered shape wouldn't work. However, I knew I was on the right track. When I found these foam tubes, I knew I found the answer. I did need to cut the tube lengthwise so that I could get it on the handle and used strapping tape to close the tube up again. It worked perfectly. My dog is now strutting around the house with the basket in her mouth. 15', no problem. She has got this part of the test aced. Thank you Bright Futures LLC. for making a wonderful versatile product.

JUST ORDER THEM!!! They're awesome :)
These were bought for a family member who had dexterity issues stemming from a chronic health condition. She had received one from her physical therapist. But, it was only one size and the therapist was never able to tell us where we could get more. So, we were very happy to find these! Currently they are being used for: eating, writing, and acrylic painting (her favorite activity). The tubes are long enough to be cut down to various sizes and seem to be very durable. Our family member says that they have a nice balanced feel to them. Soft enough to be flexible, but firm enough so as not to feel "squishy". They are allowing her to perform the afore mentioned tasks with more comfort and ease. We will definitely be ordering these again. THANKS!!!

Bigger around than expected
I thought I could cut these to desired lengths, to fit art tools (paint brushes, pens and pencils). But they are really quite “fat” and will not be suitable for trying to write or do detail work. They enlarge my grip so much that I have less fine-motor control. I think they will be good for holding paint brushes and doing larger strokes, and perhaps on some tools.

Variety but none fit right
I have neuropathy is my fingers and hands and hoped this selection would work on variety of things. But realized unsanitary for silver wear, center hole too thin to fit over handles unless outer tube way to bulky to hold.

Bought to help my father hold his pen and utensils easily.
My father gave them a major thumbs down BUT he was very weak, and even these to give a grip where too long. He couldn't get them right.I believe they woukd be great IF the person was receptive and there was a person to help measure/ cut/insert items needed when hands can't grasp well

Use these for crochet hooks & knitting needles!!
I got these the build up my metal crochet hooks. I've had some hooks 40+ years. Though I have bought some with ergonomic handles I don't always want to run out, especially if I already have the fuze hook I need for a project. The first set of these I ordered did not have a tube with a small enough hole to hold my hooks. This set has 2 tubes sized to work with my hooks though the rest are too big. I may donate the larger tubes to the group home where I work. They make crocheting much more comfortable.

Good idea but...
Good idea on paper. Unfortunately, the sizes of the openings were not useful for any flatware or utensils we have, and they weren't flexible enough.

Very appreciative of these foam tubes
I am happy that I bought this product, i had some hand grip issues and this is helping me out a lot around the house. I can hold utensils easier to feed myself and I even can write with it by sticking a pen inside. The tubes are great since the come in different sizes, it can be used for various activities and I can even paint more easier now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
