AKEWEI Boyfriend Jeans for Women 1980s High Waist Loose Fit Classic Straight Pants

I am feeling the 80's mom fantasy with these jeans. I love them. I am 5'11, 140lb with a naturaly high waist. I ordered a 28 and they fit perfect all though they did feel better and more broken in after a few wears and a wash. And for some reason the button hole was sewn shut (as mentioned in the other reviews) but i just cut it with a seam ripper. The denim is thick and sturdy and feels high quality. The waist comes up to about my belly button, makes me feel very "nipped in" .

I just received my jeans today. The material is thick and very well made. Overall the jeans look great, HOWEVER. I know I’ve got a booty on me, but the sizing of these jeans is laughable. I couldn’t even get a size 28 (my normal jean size) past my thighs. There is ZERO give in the waist band to conform to your body. I’m extraordinarily disappointed. The two stars were for the quality of the jeans, but the sizing on the waist is completely off, almost as if it was mis-sewn. I could tell the legs of the pants would have fit me but there was no way the waist could expand enough to fit around my thighs. Normally I would request a size up but I can tell that a size up would probably fit my waist but it would swallow the rest of my body in fabric. I will be returning. I’m so sad :(

I have a normal, fit body. I'm a swimmer, and kinda slim thic. To put this in perspective, I have close to a 27-28 waist and slightly loosely fit a size 4 in Kenneth Cole jeans, I'm 5'5". These jeans were too small in the thigh, though mine are a little muscular/strong, but the calves we're too big. And also too big in the waist somehow. Also the rumors about the button hole not being open are true. The pants were also too short and the wash/color of the jeans was too light, a very light almost white. Don't buy these unless you have no shape or curves in your legs, even then I wouldn't consider them :(

I really like the design and quality of these jeans. They are so so cute and the color is really nice as well. My only problem is that they run small. Like tiny. But, the seller is really really helpful and sent me a bigger size so I'm overall satisfied. Thanks!

Fits ok but a bit snug. They look awesome though. I got a size 4 but have to send them back. I also got a 6 which are the snug ones. I'm probably going to grab a second pair but 2 sizes up. (Size 8) I'm 128lbs and 5'5 if this gives one an idea.

These are probably the best high jeans that I've ever owned. The denim is thick, but not rough on the skin and can definitely hold up to some wear and tear. In terms of fit, I recommend getting a size up than what the chart indicates, as the pants are snug in the waist, hips, and rear. I have relatively wide hips and got a perfect fit when sized up (I usually wear a size 27, but purchased these pants in a 28). The only real drawback to these jeans are the fact that they do not come with a pre-made buttonhole, and you will have to cut it out yourself, which can easily be done with scissors

These pants are nothing like the picture. I am 5”9, around 130 lbs, and I read a review from a person of similar build, so I got the size that person recommended. These ended up being capris and they look completely different from what was being advertised. They also smelled of strong chemicals when they arrived in the mail. They aren’t stretchy at all either. I wouldn’t recommend these unless you know you wouldn’t be disappointed with a completely different product and you know how to style capris instead of vintage jeans.

I loved these jeans so much when I first got them 3 months ago, they became my go to jeans for all occasions, even work! Unfortunately, the zipper was of poor quality, it took multiple tries to get the zipper to cooperate when I wore them and the button was super super flimsy. Today, the zipper broke and I’m pretty disappointed considering I spent $30 on them. Everything else was perfect tho — the size of the oilers, the durability of the material etc. Very sad to have to see these go to waste.
