Clarks Women's Dowling Pearl Walking Shoe

Mixed feelings on these shoes first off they are incredibly light weight, and contrary to many of the reviews I find there is adequate support. I too was concerned about the lack of trying laces but the shoe is designed with a nylon area around the center of the foot which keeps it snug regardless of the laces and if you really don't like that you can't tie them they could be replaced.My issue is thin socks didn't work well and bunched up, thick socks were to thick, I did sockless and ended up with a huge blister on the bottom of my heel. So I am still working with these, as a person with problem feet overall they seem to be a good shoe and feel like there is nothing on your feet, yet offer comfort and support.

Comfy shoe and of course the quality is on par with the Clarks name. The only issue I had with the shoe is that the elastic "laces" are not adjustable. My foot was narrower than the product, so I had to devise a way to tighten the laces for a better fit. I typically wear a medium B width, in this shoe, I'd would suggest that it runs roomy across the top of the shoe.

They are nice looking shoes and easy to clean and keep clean. For me they are to firm and the sole is not flexible enough. The sole of these shoes are so thick and hard that they are not breaking in. If they had more cushion on the inside these would be great shoes that will probably last a long time. Because their slip ons and fit exactly the way they should there doesn't leave much room to add an insert.

I love Clarks shoes. For these, bought at a great price, I am placing my own orthotic inserts. The shoes are really soft on the inside and I really like that, but my feet need a lot of support so I placed my own inserts underneath the cushions. It works.

So far the shoes are a great fit and very comfortable. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the elastic on the inside for the tongue sometimes gets caught and rolls up. Other than that, great shoe.

The style of this shoe is really nice, but shoe was somewhat large. I had to return and unfortunately did not have time to reorder because I needed to shoe quickly for a trip. The shoe fit front to back, but not well around the top of the foot and I don't usually have a hard time with shoe fit.

I really like these shoes and they fit well, but I can't understand why they didn't put anything on the shoelaces to keep them from slipping! The elastics are too long for the shoes and so as you step forward it's too loose. I went ahead and bought laces with clasps on them. WHY DIDN'T THEY COME WITH THEM?

I love this shoe. I have bought them in several colors. I was not sure how much support they would give me until I walked through Disney 19,000 steps a day for 5 days straight with no pain. I have a lot of trouble with my feet and legs and back and I was shocked that on none of these days did I have any pain. They are comfortable and light as a feather. They are true to size.
