Beautiful and Fun to Use!
These cups were such a great addition to my terra cotta dish collection! They are really nice as a rustic drinking glass or for a more traditional purpose of drinking tea. When you fill them with liquid, they have a nice, earthy scent that feels cozy and calming. I also made hot tea in one recently and while it was a really great aesthetic, I did find it a little less practical because the clay got really hot and was difficult to hold. I think that is mainly because the lack of a glaze allows the heat to travel through the material more quickly. One thing I'll note is that the cups arrive with a little packet of ashes that is meant to help clean them. I'm mentioning it here because I hadn't seen that bit in the description and was at first a little alarmed at seeing an unidentified packet of of material until I re-checked the description. So just be aware it's there!Overall, I love these cups and think anyone who enjoys the clay look would love them as well.

Nice clay glasses, poor retail packaging
These are real clay mugs and are nice. However they arrive in a overtaped plain styrofoam brick. This is for protection but it is just horrible retail packaging. I didn't even know what the parcel was until I cut through all the tape and opened it. Inside there are zero welcomes, directions, product information or anything helpful. Just a bag of powder (apparently ash powder for cleaning. How to use it? Nobody knows)Mugs need a good cleaning out of the "box". Retailer needs some marketing staff.
