Faber-Castell 149240 Loom Gunmetal M Fountain Pen

I am an Asian with small hands. This pen fits me perfectly, medium weight and size. It glides over the paper so smoothly the first time.I purchased the gunmetal color and it is beautiful. Couldn't be happier. Wish it would come with an ink converter, I winded up ordering one from Amazon. Highly recommended.

My Faber-Carroll Loom Fountain Pen arrived well packaged and in Great condition. It came quickly too. I cleaned the pen out, put the short blue cartridge in the pen. As hoped, the Loom medium nib write wonderfully. I do not regrete purchasing this item from Amazon and will consider another such purchase.

the description stated, “ Equipped with cartridge/converter system” There was no converter, instead there was one empty and another full standard international cartridge jammed inside the barrel of the pen. I opened the pen and the empty one fell out, but the full cartridge was jammed behind it, completely stuck. I tried slapping it onto my palm to get it to come out, and it burst all over the place, making a huge mess on me and in my office. I then tried to use tweezers to get the cartridge out… nope, but it made another good mess. Needle nose pliers were necessary, and they too are now coated in ink. My hands look like i dissected a smurf. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the pen itself, but the sellers description and packaging is very wrong.

The nib is not buttery smooth. There is some feedback. What I dislike is the smooth material making the grip challenging at times. Couldn't see this as my workhorse pen. I use it mostly for Journaling.
