Purchased this to replace the plastic one that came with a manrose in line extractor after I heavy handedly broke it. Glad I did as this is a far superior products and works great.

Used on a kitchen extractor to stop back draft, works very well.

very good , works as it should without backdraft . far better than manrose with the week spring that might as well not be there.

Not suitable for a bathroom fan even a meaty mixed flow Manrose MF100 like I have. The springs are just too strong - I would love to use it but awful.

This item appears to be well made and I wished it had worked. The spring on the shutter may be slightly too strong for the extractor fan to open adequately and as a result the shutter only opened a very small amount when the fan was turned on. It may work better with a more powerful fan. I had to give up with this one in the end and used an in-line gravity closed shutter. This is a shame because I liked the idea of a spring closure of the valve against a rubber seal.

Items arrived OK, but were left outside my front door with nobody in the house! In full view of everyone. Just as well I wasn't to long doing my running around.
