Resin Thanksgiving Turkey Figurine with Glass Salt and Pepper Shaker Set, 6 1/4 Inch

I got this  Resin Thanksgiving Turkey Figurine with Glass Salt and Pepper Shaker Set  because I was looking for something I could use as a centerpiece to decorate the table on Thanksgiving.However, I did NOT want to get the tacky, cheap-looking  Party America Thanksgiving Table Decorating Kit  or  Beistle 1-Pack Decorative Cornucopia Centerpiece  type of paper or tissue decorations. I wanted something that looked solid, if not even elegant and sophisticated. Moreover, since the table I'd be using for Thanksgiving is relatively small (seats 4-6 people maximum, I needed to conserve space on the table for people's place settings (plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.) so I wanted something that could be used as both centerpiece-decoration for my Thanksgiving table AS WELL AS being functional in some way, like a napkin holder, or salt & pepper shaker set or ideally, BOTH a decorative napkin holder AND salt & pepper shaker set (like this  Turkey Pilgrim Thanksgiving Napkin And Salt and Pepper Shakers Set ). But unfortunately, the  Turkey Pilgrim Thanksgiving Napkin And Salt and Pepper Shakers Set  which was my first choice, wasn't available, or at least, it was not available such that I'd have been able to get it in time to use it for Thanksgiving.So instead, I got this  Resin Turkey Figurine with Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers  and for the most part, I'm pretty satisfied with it. It feels like a sturdy & solid (but not really to the point of being "heavy") figurine. Its use is pretty self-explanatory. Pretty much everyone knows how to use salt & pepper shakers. You unscrew the caps on top of the jars, and fill in with table salt (the holes are too small to use kosher salt or other coarse salts — not that people usually put coarse/kosher salt in shakers anyway!) and ground pepper and screw the caps back on and stick them in the wings/arms of the turkey which has indentations/hollows to accommodate one of these shakers on each wing/arm. So that is the functional aspect of it.As for the decorative aspect, this turkey figurine made a nice centerpiece for my Thanksgiving table. I first covered the table with this  DII 100% Cotton Rustic Fall Leaves & Thanksgiving Tablecloth  and set the table with these  Harvest Give Thanks Thanksgiving Tapestry Placemats  and  Klikel Alanna Gold-rimmed White Bone China Dinnerware Set  & Lightahead Gold Stainless Steel Flatware Cutlery Set . Then in the center of the table, I put THIS turkey figurine and surrounding it/all around it, I put these  Fall Harvest Leaf Thanksgiving Glass Tealight Candle Holders  and in each leaf candle-holder, I put one of the  Flameless Battery-Powered LED Tea Light Candles  and turned it on — and though I didn't remember to take a picture of it at that time (I'll take pictures this Thanksgiving, and include it with my comments, if & when I ever need to update my review) it looked pretty good!The only reason I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 is because:1.) I wish that it had included a napkin holder2.) I'm NOT really thrilled with the "look", especially the facial features/expression on this turkey figurine. Its not bad, but its not that great either.Nevertheless, all in all, I'm pretty happy with this product. Although I REALLY liked the look & dual-functionality of the  Turkey Pilgrim Thanksgiving Napkin And Salt and Pepper Shakers Set  and wish I could've gotten that instead (and am still considering getting it now, anyway!) I'm satisfied with this turkey figurine salt & pepper shaker set and recommend it to others.If you already have (or don't need/want) a Thanksgiving-themed napkin holder, then, this  Resin Thanksgiving Turkey Figurine with Glass Salt and Pepper Shaker Set  would probably make a great addition to your holiday décor!★☆★☆ 4 STARS!!!!!!!

I am really happy with my turkey salt and pepper set! I try to decorate for each occasion and when I saw this I knew it would be perfect! There’s not a lot of room on our table after all the food is added. This is a necessary item for everyone. It decorates as well as being a necessary item. Wish I could find others.

For the ranch table - looks good exactly what i hope it would be.

Bought this product as gift for a friend in New York who had a turkey invasion on his estate.. was very pleased with the quality and loved the humor aspect of the whole piece

These are much better than I expected. Can't find any flaws or crappy handiwork. Very nice! Painted nicely too and not all sloppy. I didn't estimate 6 1/2 inches when I bought them. I figured they'd be pretty small but they are definitely a good size for on the table. I got three and am now ordering another one in case I break one at some point, which I'm sure to do. Very happy with these!

This is a very good conversational piece and you can use the shakers all year long.

Good quality item , i use it at my hunting property when turkey hunting starts
