Absolutely gorgeous!! I know the reviews say many were broken but I took a chance and I couldn’t be happier! My advice…. Give it a shot. The reviews that say both are made to stand… you can place them either way. You will have books in between them so you won’t notice anything off. I could go on and on…. So those of you that are complaining that the elephant is not laying down if you look close at the picture you can tell that they just flipped it on it’s side which you can also do if you want. These book ends are a good weight to hold my cookbooks and they are super cute!

Have a few leather bound books that I acquired years ago. Can,t recall that I ever read them.But they , to the casual eye, are impressive.Needed bookends to work with the quality these books represent.Could not have done better!They are ornate,substantial in presence,perfect!!Thank you
