This feels very well made for the price, and works wonderfully with our existing range of ONE+ batteries. The light, which seems like a gimmick, is actually kind of useful, and shines directly at the area your drilling!I would recommend this drill, and the Ryobi ONE+ range to anybody looking for power tools. The expandability of the system is truly magnificent.

Nicely built, good quality drill for the price
Nicely built, good quality drill for the price. Unless you are a professional, it is not worth paying extra for the brushless model as this does the job.

OK drill, but expensive battery & charger
Drill is fine. The light helps visibility and you can feel the superior torque as it operates. Only four stars because the battery and charger that have to go with it are ridiculously expensive.

Bang for bucks
I wanted a new body for my Hitachi lithium battery drill on which the gearbox had failed and on which Hitachi refused to honour a 3 year warranty as not registered online. Price of Hitachi body exceeds (more than double) that of this where I also have several batteries. I like to keep my money where the performance is similar. I am giving the Ryobi drill a very hard workout with current tasks and it is fully up to the task. It does not have a hammer action but then that is what failed in the Hitachi gearbox so maybe I am better without.

The ONE+ 18v range is excellent particularly when powered by the 4ah battery
Once again a Ryobi piece of kit that is top draw, In my opinion there isnt another power tool company out there that comes anywhere near them for build quality and performance at this sort of price. The ONE+ 18v range is excellent particularly when powered by the 4ah battery. I now have five items in this range plus a Ryobi sliding mitre saw which is also very good.I would recommend Ryobi tools to anyone.................can you buy anything better? yes you probably can but expect to pay at least 4 or 5 times as much!!!

Recommend for DIY
Definitely the best drill and present I have brought for my partner! Have owned this for almost a year now and it gets used for all DIY products! My mum isn't the strongest of people and trailed it and found it very light too!
