So, I've had water fountains for my cats since 2020, 3 different plastic pet fountains from a local retailer, and every one of the was utter garbage. At first, they seemed OK, but the little tiny pumps on them clogged way too easily.I have a lot of minerals in my local water, and they made the plastic bowls almost impossible to clean. Additionally, the plastic fountains were stupidly designed, with completely unnecessary grooves and crevices that you couldn't get cleaning implements into at all. They were hard to handle, too.This, it's so easy to get it clean. You can look through the window and see exactly what the water level is as it starts to drop. So far, the pump has been whisper quiet. The tiny pumps on the plastic ones would groan, and slurp loudly, even when the bowl was full. It was driving me up the wall!Cleaning them was a task. Sadly, they were designed to fail. The small filters clogged easily, too. The last bowl didn't even have a filter on the pump itself! It would get minerals in the impeller and just stop spinning altogether. The last time I serviced it, the impeller jammed, and refused to turn any more.I said to heck with it, and looked for this stainless steel marvel. I did my first cleaning, which took about 10 minutes total, which the plastic ones would take 3-4 times as long, and still wouldn't be clean as I'd prefer.The cats love the fountain, and drink better because of it. I included a pic of my cats' feeding station that I set up after I got this fountain. The Smart feeders and this fountain make for a great experience that my cats seem to enjoy more than they did the old setup.I

I got this for two kitties that seem to like the kitchen faucet. It’s unbelievably quiet. I wondered if the cats would be attracted to it since it’s so quiet, but I’m sure they can hear it better than I can. So far they are using it. It keeps the water nice and cool and the biggest thing for me is ease of disassembly and cleaning. There are no corners or nooks for debris build up. It takes 5 minutes to clean. Super easy! I also like how it has the top tray where the water falls in because the slightly rippling water in the tray top is more appealing to one of my other cats. The water level window is also a plus. And this fountain looks nice too! I do plan to experiment and take the spout out sometime to see if bubbling water is preferred more. And for anyone that ever has fountain issues, I’ve always placed the pumps in a bowl of half water half vinegar and let it run for 15-20 minutes, then run fresh water through for several minutes before rinsing completely. This keeps hard water mineral deposits from ruining the pump.

I bought this to replace my cats plastic water fountain as I became concerned about UTIs and bacterial growth. While this fountain does have plastic components, its simple design is superior to other fountains I have looked at and owned. There are not a lot of crevices and creases where mold or bacteria can grow. Its easy to wash and DOES NOT have a ton of small parts you have disassemble go over with a tiny scrub brush. It can all be washed with soap and a simple sponge or dish brush in <5 minutes. The fountain nozzle is clear plastic so you can see any debris or possible filth. As others have noted the water meter doesn't work well but the sound the fountain makes can give you a clue to the water level (if its noisier than normal it probably needs water). I did not buy the fountain for the meter. I bought it for the material so this may be why I'm not concerned with it. I'd say the overall noise level is average. It's certainly not silent and sounds like flowing water. I have zero problem with this but it can be a sensory issue for others.The only thing I don't particularly like is the size but the dimensions are available and it was an oversight on my end. It is kind of small (for reference: it's about the size of a shoe box that was cut in half) but my cat and chihuahua mix are happy with it.

My girls loved the first one I got for downstairs I had to buy another for upstairs lol. Easy to set up, clean and keep the girls hydrated. If I ever need another I know where to get it!!P.S. the fountain doubles as a nice indoor water feature sound when it's quiet too.

When I first purchased this water fountain it came damaged. I returned it and received a replacement within about 10 days. This is the first fountain I have ever purchased. I'm giving it a four-star rating at this time because I've only had the fountain for about a week. It's very easy to put together. I have two cats and they have acclimated to the fountain very quickly. The fountain is very quiet. I read in previous reviews that some have indicated fountain tends to get louder as the water level gets lower.I selected this fountain because of its oval shape as opposed to round or square . I feel that the elongated design makes it easier for both my cats to drink from it at the same time without water splashing onto the floor. It has a light in the window that displays the water level which makes it easier to determine if you need to add water.This fountain holds a lot of water and it's not easy to carry it once you fill it to move it to its final destination without spilling water. I wish they had handles on the side of it which would certainly make carrying it easier.I like that it has a light in the window that displays the water level so I can tell whether or not water needs to be added to the fountain.But at this point I feel it's worth the price.

I’ve had this cat fountain for about a year now with no problem. My cat likes it, though he prefers to drink out of the basin and not the fountain part. I would like to think it encourages him to drink more but I can’t say for sure. It is a bit tedious to clean all the crevices and motor area properly even with the pipe cleaner, especially because it recommends doing that every 2 weeks, but that’s my only complaint.

Our first fountain was a plastic one, and while it did what it said it would do, I worried about cleanliness, and didn't like the noise level. My cats weren't very interested. Since I have a breed that requires more water than most, I wasn't comfortable.This fountain is quiet, bright and easy to clean. My cats love it so much, they make it hard for us to take it up to clean it. I can keep closer track of how much they are drinking, with the see thru panel.I waited until we had used this a good while before reviewing. Very, very pleased with the purchase.

La verdad es que está increible, muy buena compra, a mi gatito le gusta mucho, ahora toma más agua, el ruido que hace es del agua callendo, hasta es relajante, es fácil de instalar y limpiar, me gustó que trae un tapete para poder ponerlo y no se resvale

The media could not be loaded.  Cuando nos enteramos que las enfermedades renales son comunes en los gatos por falta de hidratación, buscamos una fuente para fomentar que nuestros gatos tomaran agua y lo logramos: su consumo de agua aumentó. Además, al ser de acero inoxidable es muy higiénica porque es muy difícil que acumule residuos y/o bacterias. Es muy fácil de lavar y su motor es muy silencioso. Muy buen precio, y muy recomendable.

Good water fountain.. holds a good amount of water for my cats. I will say, you need to clean this every few days, it gets slimey and also debris gets into this as it’s an open water source. Super easy to clean and fill up!! Happy with it:)
