I’ve been struggling with severe back pain for years and honestly when I was pregnant I found the pregnant mom c shaped jumbo pillow and I loved it!!! But one thing about it is that it is very bulky and it’s hard to wash, and it makes you really sweaty on the hot days. Now this one though!!!! I was immediately SOLD when I saw it has a detachable side! This makes it so versatile and easier to carry around if I need to go chill in the living room or just use it white sitting instead of laying down. Bonus!! It’s frikken GEL MEMORY FOAM!!!! (The one I had was just stuff cottons) You know what it’s like to have memory foam😏😏😏 and GEL!!!?? Never worry about the sweaty hot days🤩 Also, did I mention it is easy to clean???! All you have to do is unzip the outer case and then slip it back on when it’s done washing.Ugh!!! I can’t get enough of it!!!!!! +++++++++ perfect for prego mamas or anyone with back issues!!!!

I'm going to have gallbladder surgery soon and immediately thought of buying a pregnancy pillow to keep me from rolling over on my incision. I'm glad I did! This pillow is extremely comfortable for how I sleep (on one side or on my stomach with one arm under the pillow). Now the only thing I have to worry about is my cats stepping on me when I sleep, lol!The pillow just arrived today so I haven't slept on it a full night yet, but just testing it out made me sigh in relief. I'm 5'1" and the longer side of the pillow -- the part that unzips -- hits me just below the knee when lying straight. When I rest my knee on the pillow (akimbo, like I usually sleep), my foot is just below the end of the pillow. So if you're tall, it may not work as well for you.I'm very happy with my pillow!

I LOVE the memory foam & the cover. It doesn’t overheat and that is fantastic. It is supportive (I hate soft/squishy poly fill).It took about 48hours and a lot of manual fluffing to get it into shape, but it was worth the time & energy. Overall, I’ve found that the filling doesn’t shift around too much, but I fco need to re-fluff the head area periodically.I like that one side comes off.I don’t like the flat/empty insert section that is needed to make the detatchable side long enough for me to be comfortable (I’m 5’8). It allows that side to move too much, resulting in minimal back support.This is the 3rd maternity pillow (and 3rd brand) I have tried & by far the best. The filling in the first one was so light weight & fluffy that it provided no support. The second one was firmer, but it was very warm, which was a no go - I’m a hot sleeper to begin with & would wake up sweating thru my sheets with pillow #2.All I need is some stuffing to fill in the squirrely flat inset & I’d give it 5 stars.

The material is not comfortable and this is not cooling. Other than that it is just ok for me

Updated Review 12/12/22- seller contacted me about original comment below and helped procure another, different material case! This one is more plush and the zippers on the detachable portion seem like they will stay zipped better with any movement. I think this is the only gel pillow like this on Amazon and it’s great for snuggling! I appreciate the urgency and eagerness of the seller to rectify the problem I originally encountered.—This is a very comfortable pillow, but if you have pets with nails that like to snuggle with you or your pillows, this one isn’t for you. The cooling case easily pulls, so my cat put one paw on the pillow 2 days after I received it and pulled a chunk of fluff/fuzz out. I imagine the same thing would happen if any clothes that touch this have any zippers. Contacted the seller and they don’t sell any other replacement cases… this is a one time only thing. So much for spending $60 on something I can’t get any replacement cases for.

EDIT: The seller contacted me and quickly sent me another type of cover. The new cover is amazing. Very soft and much more durable. I’m very impressed with how this situation was handled.Original: This pillow is very comfortable, but the cover is junk. If you have pets this is not the one for you. If my cat so much as thinks about walking past the pillow it snags (then she chews and chokes on the long strings all night). This is not a case of my cat being naughty and clawing at it. She simply just walks across it and huge strings get pulled out.I do like how easy it is to get the cover on and off for washing. However, after just one wash the cover is splitting at the seam as shown in the photo.Pillow - 5 starsCover - negative 100 starsI wish I could buy another cover somewhere.

The media could not be loaded. I loved that this was shipped SUPER fast! However, it didn't fully fluff up, it was extremely firm/condensed, and it was difficult to sleep with.The detachable side piece did move instead of support my back, I tried flipping around the other way and had thr same issue. I did end up waking up on my back multiple times through the night because of this - which I what I was trying to avoid.The firmness doesn't allow my bump to sit comfortably and ended up adding pressure to my belly, which again, was what I was trying to avoid by purchasing this pillow.The head portion sank in the middle with one sleep, and didn't give me any neck support.I did try fluffing as much as I could on my own to try to fix these issues, and it just doesn't work.I slept terribly, woke up sore, and sadly will be returning.(After filing for a return, it looks like after spending $70 on this pillow, I'll only be getting $53 back - be aware before you purchase)
