There is no looped thread like towels on its surface. Its edges are not sewn to improve the drainage and dry easily. This tenugui is for kendo, so it is longer tha usual. You wear it under your men to stop the sweat to run down your face and to lessen the impact on your head. Letters and patterns on it have each meanings. They express what to be or what you want to be. You should practice kendo understanding and being conscious of them.

Three start because too expensive and for that price the edges should have had a hem so that after use the thread of the fabric do not come undone.
