When it arrived i was a bit disappointed , if didnt look very exiting. How wrong was i ! Its really good quality, very soft and it lovely to sleep on. Would buy again.

The pillowcase arrived in a lovely small presentation box. Upon inspection, the pillowcase is well made and the silk is so beautiful to the touch. It fits a standard sized pillow. I am hoping that the silk will rejuvenate my older skin and give my hair an extra boost( a girl can only hope) would make a great stocking filler for Christmas

I ordered 2 of these silk pillowcases in the hopes of reducing the impact of pillows causing bed hair and friction on the skin. I am never going back and I am very impressed.When lying on the silk pillowcase, it is nice and cool which is amazing for summer and winter months in combination with an appropriate thickness blanket. When laying down on it, you can’t really feel much friction compared to traditional pillowcases. You can move around comfortably without the fear of messing up your hair as when I wake up after switching to this pillowcase, I don’t get unmanageable bed hair. It is also great for reducing the friction on your face which can help prevent acne, this is a great feature for sensitive skin. However, the frictionless surface makes it hard to stack another pillow on top if you are a sleeper that prefers having your head higher up.The pillowcase is very easy to clean. I personally use a gentle detergent formulated for gentle materials such as silk which I purchased seperately and att it in warm water and leave it for 30 minutes, agitating it gently before setting a timer. I then rinse it out under warm water to get all the detergent out of it and put it flat on a clean towel, rolling it up and gently squeezing to get excess water out of it. I then hang it up outside out of direct sunlight to prevent damage to the material. Since the material is breathable, it dries very quickly which is a big advantage if you live in an area with constantly changing weather.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and I definitely recommend this silk pillowcase if you are interested in getting one.Please note that if you get liquid on it such as water, it can cause water marks. However, in my experience, it usually comes out the next time you wash it.

Really soft and no hair frizz in the morning

I'm no expert but these are nothing like the silk pillowcases I already have and have had in the past.They feel and look like a more synthetic satin.Unlike other silk cases I have had these have badly pilled and with washing have remained very shiny but bobbly, where the real ones I have, have become softer and have a sort of 'washed silk' effect as they age.The red in the photo is a much, much older pillow slip to show the difference.Even if these are silk (I suspect not) they looked terrible so quickly they must be made with a different process and I would avoid them.

Good weight of silk, lovely colours and beautiful look.

I bought 2 of these pillowcases in grey. I am delighted with them and will soon be ordering more. They arrived in individual presentation packets. When opened they had fold marks (as you would expect) but no extra creases. The silk is a lovely weight and the pillowcases are very well made. I love the pale silver grey colour. The concealed zip is very convenient and appears to be of good quality . I have washed them in my machine on a cool hand wash cycle and line dried. I gave them a very light iron but probably could have got away without. They washed and dried perfectly. If you are wanting to try a silk pillowcase of good quality I definitely recommend these.

Nice feel, and lovely colour

The silk is a nice, tight weave with a lovely satin smoothness. My hair texture has improved since I started sleeping on this. Cleans perfectly...I just throw it in the machine with my sheets. Only complaint is the zipper is not sewn in well and I have to be careful when I put it on/take it off.

I am not a silk snob or expert. I’m sure there are other expensive luxury brands out there that are better for $60 plus a pop each. These cases are well made, have held up well, and didn’t cost a fortune. They are soft as silk should be. (Comparing to my silk scarves I got from France) The description on Amazon says they are 6a mulberry silk, (which is good) charmuese weave (good) 22 Momme, (also good) but it does not say specifically say 100% mulberry silk so there is a good possibility there could be something else mixed in with the silk. If so it would be very little, as I have not noticed it, and I’m comparing it to the Blissy cases everyone raves about. The label inside the case lists it as 6a silk, but does not say 100% mulberry. This is is the second set of cases from this company I have ordered. The first set went on guest bed, and new set is for me. Everyone appears to be very particular with their care. Well guess what? I have washed AND dried these in my washing machine/dryer with cold water and using low heat. They have survived just fine in the year I’ve had them. In fact I think it’s made them even softer. Does this mean I am shortening their life span? Maybe, but at 19.99 each I’m not worried about it. Is my face and hair happier? Yes. Definitely no more bed head or face creases. For this price point I think they are an excellent choice. I don’t expect sheets and pillow cases to last forever, 7 - 9 years is a good life span. I think these will do that just fine.Edit: after washing and sleeping on the 2 cases I ordered, something did not seem right. (I had not slept on the first set I bought for guest room) The fabric seemed off - even if it’s a blend. For the price I expected a blend and not 100% silk - however these slept very hot and not as comfortable as a case that would be mostly silk. The description is very careful to say 23 momme , 6a quality, and mulberry silk. It does not however say 100% mulberry silk, nor does the label inside the case say anything about mulberry silk. It only says “finest grade 6a silk.” The reason I am disappointed is when I did a burn test there was no ash or smell like other silk I have had. It immediately formed one solid melted blob. I take this as proof there is a lot more polyester in them than the description led me to believe. I can’t return them now, so will have to cough up more if I want silk (or at least mostly silk cases.) I should have done my homework. Good Housekeeping rated PROMEED silk cases as a best buy, and although only 19 momme ZimaSilk is rated by several reputable sources as a best budget (inexpensive) buy. I stand by what I said that I think Blissy is over priced compared to other brands that are as good or even superior. Blissy was mentioned mainly for hair. Fishers Finery came up consistently for a very overall quality silk pillow and you can find it starting at $40.
