My grandson loves playing with this!

I purchased this for my son's birthday. I know that my son loves rainbow colors, so I thought this would be great. Turns out the my son loves it and the texture of the pins. He loves to put his hand in, and seeing a rainbow hand on the other side. 💖

I was pleasantly surprised that this was smaller than previous pin boards I've bought for my son. He enjoys playing with it allot. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the pins them selves get bent and stuck in one position very easily and I have to sit down and try to remove them before my son does it himself because I know he'll try to chew on them. Otherwise I like it, especially liked that it was multi colored.

I had several of these growing up and was excited to see this with rainbow pins. The item looks just like the pictures and in several days of use, none of the pins have bent or fallen out (that was the biggest problem with my oder units). The size of this unit is smaller than the ones I used to have (they were 5x7 and this one is closer to 3x5) but you can still get some cool designs. I am pleased with it and so far the kids in my counseling office have enjoyed playing with it as we chat. 5 stars.

This was a fun flashback to my childhood! We played with these so hard as kids, and the pins were so hard and sharp it hurt. Many in the stores now have replaced the pins, but to something so much cheaper that they aren't worth the money.This one, however, was kind of perfect and in between and a better quality than what we've seen in our department store! We have it on our desk throughout the day and kind of play with it off and on -- particularly with stressful calls, it's a fun stress reliever!

I work with neurodivergent children. This lasted a good 2 months before one of my kiddos threw it up in the air and it shattered into countless pieces on impact. If you are buying for a kid(s) who can understand being gentle with delicate toys, and tactile sensory seeking, it’s a great toy. For less gentle children, can’t recommend.

This looked interesting and I thought I'd get it to keep around the house for when the grandkids came over. While interesting; it's not perfect and I lost interest in a couple minutes (my 8 year old grandaughter liked it a lot more than me - she played with it for an hour). The problem is the pins are extremely loose in the case, so the slightest movement (or turning the whole thing on its back) automatically pulls all the pins back in. The only way to really make "art" is to put it on its edge and you can then make something happen. Somewhat limited as a fidget diversion, and too small to make much "art", it can be an interesting diversion if you like to fidgit with things. The build quailty, on the other hand, is quite nice. It would look fine on an executives desk for those moments where you need a couple minute diversion to refocus.

I had a toy similar to this growing up and it would keep me entertained for hours ! I got this for my 7 year old for in the car for entertainment besides a tablet and it works ! The purple color pegs is nice and bright against the black border ! The legs are plastic ! It’s smaller in size and perfect for easy play ! This would also make a sweet little gift or stocking stuffer !
