Bootsie - The Schoolboy (Book Three)

I bought three in the series for my nephew's 8th Birthday - my brother chose them to try and encourage him to read as he is reluctant and doesn't seem to enjoy reading. When I spoke to him on his Birthday he said 'I don't like reading mummy can read them to me' so I was delighted to receive a photo of him and his older brother sitting in his top bunk early one morning reading the books together. They love them and I'm really pleased they have helped encourage him to read on his own. Well done Bootsie!

My rugby playing grandson loves these books. I highly recommend them. He is using strategies from the books in his games and has been Captain of the team for three matches.

Good book and easy to understand.

These books are brilliant for young kids, rugby lovers or not. So inspirational and a great way to teach kids about the game of rugby whilst learning so many valuable life lessons.SIMPLY BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!Make sure you check out the other Bootsie titles, Bootsie you're 8, Bootsie number 2 and Bootsie the king. I found a website for the books that says there's another 4 books still to come as well, can't wait.

These books are nothing short of excellent, my 8 yr old son couldn't put them down, he read 4 books in succession which i think say's it all, he can't wait to get the next 2! Although they are rugby themed, they do offer a moral story in each book, cleverly written, so much so that my son quotes some of the moral lessons he learned in them!
