3 x Mottlock Pantry Moth Traps (pk5) Natural, Safe, Non-toxic Food Moth Trap

I am so disappointed. These were expensive! And they didn't work. I also bought some different, cheaper, ones and they didn't work either. We've had an outbreak of food moths (pantry moths) - something I had never even heard of until we got them. They came in some hamster treats and hatched out in the cage. The hamster cage was crawling with moths ugh! I had kept seeing the odd one flying around. And then found they had got into our food cupboard! So after removing the source, disinfecting the hamster cage and the food cupboard, throwing a lot of food away and investing in some lock and lock boxes for flour etc, I am still finding two or three most evenings. I had these traps placed in all sorts of places and particularly near where the moths seem to hang out, but didn't catch a single blooming moth in them! I even tried clothes moths traps in case they weren't pantry moths after all (Indian meal moths I think is the actual name). Nothing in those either. The only thing that caught any was a fly paper and my hoover.

I had pantry moth in my kitchen recently and despite throwing out all the food and cleaning with bleach they still persisted to a lesser extent. I used three Mottlock strips in the affected food cupboard and within a few days the remainder was caught. I did not know about these moths until i saw maggots marching across my celing. First I freaked out, second I Googled it and third I bought Mottlock strips. I went from being infested to 100% clear in less than a week and since then i have recommended this course of action to a few people who have also had the same problem. I intend to leave just one strip at the back of my cupboard for a bit longer "just in case"

Works VERY well, but overpriced.

I have a pantry moth problem and the only way I can control it is with Mottlock, an excellent product. Whilst it cannot erradicate the moths it does keep them under control. I would like to get a female moth trap if possible.

Brilliant. I have finally got on top of these little blighters...a year later. Still not there but these work really well and have done the trick. I keep one in the cupboard just in case!! Thoroughly recommend.

Have had food moths from a consignment of food powders, this attracts them very well, but you need to deep clean and keep tackling them. To get rid of the annoying creatures!
