The blocks of salt sits into 1 cm of water in the salt tank...dissolving slowly from the bottom. Once the salt drops to about a third of it's size, another block can be placed on top. Ensuring there is always some salt in the machine. Please allow 7 - 10 working days for delivery. overall I was happy with my order
overall I was happy with my order, the delivery driver phoned to say he would be with us in 30 minutes, and he was. The salt was on a pallet and was dropped off right out side my house, However on unloading the salt one of the packs contained broken blocks of salt which I was unable to use. other than this I was happy with the service provided.

great purchase for my Harvey water softener. It gets rid of all the limescale in kettles and clothes come out great withoutthe soap residue. Keeps the appliances working for longer would definitely recommend.
