Fitted perfect on my Fairlady Z33 hood

They screw in and stay in spot as they should. But aren't holding my hood in my 2008 G35 up and flush as they were suggested for, because of that and I repositioned them a couple times trying to get the hood to be flush and that caused one of them to get brittle already which is the reason I took a star off. I imagine if you put them on and leave them in place they hold up for a few years.

The original bumpers had rotted away from age and weathering. When removing them it's best to use a small amount of lubricant so they dont break off while turning and leave a portion of the bumper inside the hood, it's a pain to get it back out, don't ask me how I know. When reinstalling the new bumpers, put a very thin film of dielectric grease or similar on the threaded part of the rubber to allow it to turn in smoothly.

Fit perfect, just really really tight to adjust

I just installed these on my 2005 Nissan Xterra. I have only had one bumper installed since I had my hood replaced after a hail storm around 2010. The hood is flush to the fenders now, and it should be the last thing that made any noise while driving (except passengers and the radio)

Works perfect in the Xterra to rid that hood wobble at freeway speeds.
