Great quality I was actually surprised! The pages are thick and very very smooth. The cover paper is also very thick! I’m used to mass market dictionary’s that are cheap and fall-apart rather quick. This one is a step above and will not be falling apart anytime soon very durable!

I'm satisfied with this new 2023 thesaurus. A stout paperback, it's organized by Merriam-Webster in a smart alphabetical order of main and cross entries. I like that the cross entries are also defined and not simply pointed to the main entries where you get the full treatment of the synonyms. (See photos for “flamboyant” and “noticeable”). They included sample sentences, related words, antonyms and near antonyms with the main entries. All of these are a great help to find the word I'm looking for. It does not contain offensive words (vulgar and obscene) so it's also ideal for school use. Although thicker than the M-W Dictionary, the thesaurus is just as light and easy to handle. (By the way, I brushed the edge of the dictionary with yellow acrylic paint to offer some protection.)Now this is just nitpicking. The print of the thesaurus looks a bit coarse. The paper appears to be heavy duty but not very smooth and white. But it uses a bigger font so readability is good. Among alphabetically arranged thesaurus, I believe this is one of the best. Although it “only” contains 150,000 word choices, it can work in your favor if you take the time to learn how to use it efficiently, as explained by the editors in the front matter. It's made in the USA. At around U$13 from amazon with free shipping, this isn't a bad deal for the trade paperback, 2023 edition of the M-W Thesaurus. I recommend it. Just make sure you get the right one since there are two versions of the paperbacks, trade and mass-market.

I can't find it listed anywhere but the font is so small we need to use a magnifying glass to read the words.So small as to be useless. I wish the size was available so we could know what size font upgrade we might need for it to be useful.

Having a thesaurus handy and at the ready really helps when I’m writing. I’d recommend this to pretty much anyone who wants a convenient little book by their side for when they’re writing something, be it for school, work, or personal projects.
