Why are these made in china? they seem to be really nice, wish they were made in the usa

Not sure why made in China, likely cost to produce like so many other products that we hope will return to the USA. I can tell you it is a very good cooler. I purchased as it had all the features I was looking for including rubber feat (no slip on my boat). The latches are great, tight seal but very easy to open. We've been using during COVID. We keep ice cold beer and wine in it. Ice lasts 2-3 days depending on open and close frequency. I thought I wanted Yeti until I saw the price. Happy with this cooler for intended use, pontoon boat and UTV X4.

How many cans of beer can you fit

It depends on how much ice you want but you can fit a 12pk in there and still have room for some ice.

Can someone please tell me the exact height?

it is 14.5 inches from top to bottom (handle down)

Does this cooler have optional compartment separator or basket like the Rtic?

At this moment we do not offer the compartment separator, but we might add it in the near future.
