PatrolEyes HD 1296P Ultra Infrared IR Night Vision
I am a cyclist and I video most my rides either for safety and precaution or to upload on YouTube. I bought this camera for durability and ruggedness. From the lower end Vivitar products to the more expensive GoPro cameras, both brands tend to pack about one hour to an and half of recording from a full charge. This body records much longer with good quality. It doesn't need to be encased in a plastic box for bad weather and I do not fear dropping this product from a height of four or five feet. Its not for under water but that is not the reason why I would purchase any action or body camera. The only draw back was that product was shipped with the wrong clip. I contacted StuntCams, the primary seller, and they quickly sent me the proper clip . The night vision works well. It has a camera mode for still pictures. It also has a remote to record, take stills or video. I bought the product on sale for around $300. That to me was a good price for this type of camera. It can be set up for motion detection but I have not used that as I did not purchase it with surveillance or law enforcement intentions. But for those into security work and law enforcement this is a reasonably priced product to look at.

Cuts off while recording
This is the second bodycam by PatrolEyes. Both were $400. Both have cut out & stopped working sporadically. I can’t get either to work for more than a few minutes. I thought the battery was bad in the first one. I bought this one & it does the same thing. Waste of money.
