Gardena Lawn-mower Grass Catcher

Same as most others, it is not very efficient at collecting clippings - a lot falls by the wayside. You have to keep stopping. The flimsy attachment is a joke at this price point (see on the promo pictures the silver hook that attaches the top to the lawnmower, there's no indentation for it to on or anything similar). So the basket keeps detaching if you turn or reverse. I'm really disappointed, wish I had gone for a different brand for both, mower and catcher.

I inherited an old gardena 300 push mower years ago and my electric mower broke and being eco friendly I thought, I'm not buying another cheap mower that lasts barely 2 years I'll buy a box for my little push mower fantastic so happy it fits and collects the grass nicely thumbs 👍 amazon for supplying it as always delivery spot on 😊 happy gardening again 😊

Liked the no-nonsense construction, but it wasn't as effective in gathering the cuttings as the conventional tin container on other traditional cutters. I find it easier to simply rake up the cutting afterwards.

Hard to give a review of the grass cutting box as the land mower that was supposed to come with it isn’t here and Amazon haven’t informed me when it will be back in stock. I’m sure it’s a perfectly good box but unless I am cutting the grass by scissors, it will be hard to tell.

I bought this grass collector to go with the Gardena Lawn mower and find it doesn't collect the grass very well, a lot of grass collects along the edge where it is clipped on and found I have to keep stopping to push the grass back into the collector. I think it is expensive for what it is.

Not very stable when fitted to mower.

This is one of the most useless products of any kind I have ever bought. I bought the Gardena lawnmower but it didn’t come with a basket to catch the grass. Okay, I thought, it’s a bit of a profit making device, but since the reviews of the lawn mower were so good I bought the grass catcher too. It hooks onto the lawnmower easily, if flimsily. A strap attaches it to the upper handle and regulates the angle of the grass catcher. And then you try to use it. Unless you are mowing a Bowling Green the grass catcher comes off the lawn mower very quickly. 10 seconds is about the most I’ve ever been able to get the 2 to stay together. It renders the lawnmower a pain because you have to rake all the grass not caught by the grass catcher.This is a pathetic piece of equipment. The plastic hooks at the side simply do not stay in place.Do not buy this accessory. And therefore you might decide not to buy the lawnmower that, on its own, I thought was very good.

Cannot recomend this product.Got it with the gardena 400 mower. Had to buy it separately as it dose not come with the lawyer.It is a very basic item, bit of plastic on some fabric with a few bent rods. Far to expensive for all it is.Plus even at the price you have assemble it yourself, even though it fits in the same box assembled.This item is not needed at all. As the clipping are spread to do evenly that you don't see them on the lawn. This cheaply made item Should come with the mower.
