An Affordable Solution to Cat or Dog Hair Problems.
I'm not sure why I never bought this before, considering I’ve had a cat for nearly seven years. Every year, as the temperature drops, my cat sneaks into my room and sleeps in or on my bed. While I don’t mind her doing that, I always dislike how she leaves patches of shed hair on my duvet. To make matters worse, when I got married a year ago, my wife became allergic to my cat's hair. So, I’ve been using those sticky rollers, but I go through a roll pretty quickly. This time, I decided to try the hair roller from HOME HERO, and I must say I’m blown away by how well it works. It’s also very reasonably priced at just $7 (at the time of writing), while other similar ones average around $10.I’ve been using it for a week now whenever my cat manages to sneak into my room and jump onto the bed, and this roller really picks up the hair. Even the hair that’s stuck in the duvet fabric comes off with just a few back-and-forth swipes. It works so well – maybe too well - that it even pulls out random strands of polyfil poking out from the duvet.Overall, this is a fantastic product at a great price. It has already saved me a lot of money since I no longer need to buy sticky rolls every few months. If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be that the plastic housing feels a bit thinner than expected in terms of build quality.

Picks up dog hair, but difficult to empty.
I bought this to remove dog hair off my quilt. I hate putting a dog blanket on my bed, so I thought this might be the solution. It works fairly well, but it's supposed to be simple to empty. That is not the case. Because of static electricity from rolling it, the hair that it picks up wants to stick to the receptacle and that makes it hard to empty. It's great in concept, but not the easiest to use. I still use it occasionally , but it is not the solution I was looking for.

Actually works
I currently have a cat and a long haired dog. I had been using tape lint rollers and sticky silicone ones, which were fine but a pain because they constantly needed to be cleaned or the tape peeled before the job was close to done. This roller is awesome. It’s easy to use and the self cleaning function is great.Since my song has long hair sometimes her hairs don’t get fully pulled into the chamber where the lint and hairs end up after self cleaning and they dangle out a bit, however they stay trapped and don’t transfer back to my clothes.Cleaning of the brush is easy, just rub the rollers back and forth quickly. Emptying the chamber is also easy. A simple press of the button and it’s open. However you do need to be mindful of how you hold the handle so you don’t accidentally press the button. It’s not like it flings open or anything but it does release the latch. It’s honestly not a big issue, just something to be mindful of.

Works well on sofas and chairs, with dog hair everywhere.
OK, Ive got a Golden Retriever who sheds like it is her job. Her Golden Glitter gets everywhere, especially if she decides to lounge on my sofas or chairs. I don't blame her, as she sees me doing it from time to time. This roller is affective in picking up dogs hair that is embedded into the fibers of my sofas and chairs. I do clean this roller often as it is usually full of dog hair. I will also use a vacuum to suck up the hair inside the roller, and then use warm water and a tiny bit of Dawn soap to wash the roller part that is a velvet like feel.We are pretty happy with using this product, especially if others want to sit down and not be covered in dog hair. It's a quick and easy method to pick up dog hair, fast.

Very surprised it worked excellent
I had been laid up for about a year, so I never got to clean them. (We have a couch protector on both of our couches) I took the covers off and there was so much cat hair! We have two cats. This item was amazing!!! It really worked as they said it would. I did go over it with a vacuum just to get the dander up. But if you keep on top of your couch or wherever you use this, you really don’t need to vacuum. Very simple to use push a button & dump the hair out. I highly recommend this!!

It works, but not great for long haired pets.
Does it do as advertised? Yes. Does it collect the fur in the compartment? Yes. Does it pick up the fur off the surface it’s used on? Yes.However,Does it work on all lengths of fur? No. Does it clean the roller off completely and with ease? No. Does it remove all fur from the surface with ease? No. Does long fur tangle on the roller and compartment? Yes. Does it work on heavily coated surfaces? Nope.My honest review is if it’s something you need on the go like your vehicle or yourself when you get to your destination and realize you’ve got fur on yourself, it’ll work great. But I wouldn’t recommend it for large surfaces where the pets frequent and coat the area with sufficient fur. It also isn’t great for long haired pets (if that’s what you only have) only for the reason that as a roller on a vacuum, once it wraps around, it’s stuck in there unless you cut it out.I have both a short haired tortie and a Maine Coon with ridiculously long hair (especially his tail). After using this device on a surface they frequent, I saw my tortie’s hair perfectly collected in the compartment. However my Maine coon’s hair was wrapped up around and wouldn’t come out. It also caused fur being collected on the roller to tangle and not collect any further in the compartment. I’ll have to sit down with a pair of tweezers and remove all the tangled hair in the crevices. After that, I’ll store this in my truck and use it in there instead. I bought an assortment of different items to try and what works best where, this one is the designated truck item. Good luck fur parents!
