I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this record cabinet. We got two of these to put side by side. The alternative was to spend $2500+ on a custom solid wood piece, so we thought we'd give this a chance and we're glad we did. Yes, it is MDF. But the veneer is better than expected. It's not the super cheap paper stuff that easily rubs off. This is more like plastic or something, but the wood grain looks pretty good. It doesn't look super cheap. In fact, it's a comparable veneer to the furniture in my office at work. It is supposedly waterproof, which I doubt, but I at least feel comfortable wiping it down with a wet paper towel to clean it.Both boxes arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were easy to follow and construction didn't have any problems. The instructions say to never put a TV on this furniture, but I think that's their boiler plate legal disclaimer for all their products. The listing here on Amazon says it can function as a TV stand. I would recommend to put heavy items on the bottom to keep it from being top-heavy. In our case, the bottom shelves are loaded with records so no problem. I emailed the company and they said each cabinet can hold 250 lbs.Only two negatives. The legs could be better quality. They're the only part that's actual wood and it's pretty cheap lightweight wood with a cheap finish. Still, they do the job ok. Second: As other reviews have pointed out, if you install the power strip into the cabinet, it prevents several records from being pushed in all the way on the shelf below it. I just didn't install it. I didn't mind because you can't see the hole for the power strip if you have records below and something on the shelf.For $130 each, I would easily recommend these. Yeah, they're not super nice furniture but you're going to pay 10x the price for super nice. These are definitely better than expected for $130.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for something that will last and sturdy. I reviewed many others, but kept coming back to this one. It was a great choice! My husband and son put it together. I brought this table for the record player my husband brought our son for his birthday! He was so surprised and happy! It looks great in his room. Definitely a nice furniture piece ❤️

I love how this table looks. The built in outlets are a wonderful touch, and the whole thing feels very high quality and well made. Assembly wasn’t difficult and the end result is a beautiful piece of furniture.

Looks great, holds all my records (not sure how many it actually stores). Note, if you are using this for record storage, the built-in outlet is in the way and the records on the bottom right shelf stick out a lot further than the other shelves. I didn’t need the built-in power so I didn’t install it and all my records are flush with each other. Otherwise this was a wonderful purchase.

Was easy to build and the quality was surprisingly good for the price. Fits all my equipment and records like a glove.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Trash. Don’t wast your time. Holes for the outlet are 1 missing 2 too far. The middle shelf is improperly supported so it’s permanently angled. The cheap fake wood will break if you try to correct it. If this was preassembled I would pay $10 and give it to a college kid. It’s like ikea furniture but cheaper and harder to put together.
