Needs Special Treatment to Sprout -- Cats LOVE them MUCH More than Catnip!!
Cats go crazy for this vine--more so than catnip! When I saw many comments that their seeds would not sprout, I researched the many online articles. I learned the seeds need to be in "winter conditions" for 3-4 months before they will sprout. You should put these tiny seeds in a wet paper towel inside a plastic bag and refrigerate for 3-4 months. Then fill a 4-6" pot with a well-draining seed starting mix (peat moss & perlite) with a pH of 5.5-7.5. Plant them 1/2 inch deep and 1-2 inches apart. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged by lightly watering when the surface begins to dry out. The pot should be in a warm location with indirect sunlight for 6 hours daily. Germination occurs in 2-4 weeks, BUT IT CAN TAKE LONGER! Once the seedling sprout and have 2-3 sets of true leaves, transplant into a 10-12" pot or into the garden.EDIT A FEW DAYS LATER: I must amend my review in that THIS COMPANY SENT ME THE WRONG SEEDS! The Silver Vine seeds are ACTINIDIA POLYGAMA. I bought them from another source, but the directions are sound.

Probably not actual silver vine seeds
I got them and they are small and black like kiwi seeds, not light tan and more rounded like photos I have seen online. I planted them anyway and kept some in fridge for a few months Iโll see if they germinate into silver vine for my cats

Taking along time to germinate, been three weeks no sprouts yet.
Shipping was fast, but after three weeks no signs of sprouts yet.

Do not buy
Bought 8 packets, highly unlikely that each packet contained 100 seeds, planted in organic soil, plenty of sun/water but NOTHING grew.
R**.
Did not germinate
Not a single seed germinated. A complete waste of money. And I canโt return an empty package!
