If you need it to be powered away from a mains source, you can use a rechargeable USB power pack. It will run off of a laptop's USB port, too.

Perfect Fan!! It is not battery operated, but it does come with the cable (not a block). I bought it to use at night for extra noise and air while sleeping. Has three speeds. Would buy again. Would recommend!

Excellent little fan for the price point. I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful this little three speed fan really is. I've placed it under my desk monitors and it really keeps me cool when I need it to. Oh the good thing is that it plugs into the USB port on my monitors so it automatically shuts off when not in use.

Worked perfectly - fits flat in a suitcase, works off usb power. As long as you have a usb connection or an extension cord with a usb outlet, you can use it anywhere. We use it our air b&b in Europe.

I purchased this fan to take along with us on a cruise. It was perfect. It made the noise we were used to hearing from a fan as well as blowing a cool air at us. The power plugged into an outlet that was close to the bed. It was fully adjustable so we could adjust it to our needs. I definitely recommend it for using on a cruise or in a small bedroom in your home.

Powerful little fan that sits on my nightstand! It plugs into a USB so the battery life is controlled. It provides some noise but I prefer it and it’s basically white noise for me. Solid fan for a decent price!
