I’ve been using this brand for years. They now have it perfected. The cord use to tangle and now it does not. If you like the blown out look from a salon but can not do it yourself then this is for you. I even wash my hair and dry about 3/4 of way and go to bed . In the morning I use the Calista round brush and it does a beautiful job. Thank you!

I love this item! I purchased the 3/4 inch. The 1 inch version is good for softer curls, but this gives me a great stronger “curl”. It’s easy to use and you don’t burn your hands using it. No need for a mitt.

04/25/25 - UpdateCalista has replaced the non functioning unit. I'm very happy with the result. I have always loved this product!!! Thank you, Calista. I'm changing from one star to 4. It would be 5 except for the one bad unit.04/03/25 - I feel conflicted having to write a bad review because I could swear by this product. This device works beautifully on my very thick/coarse hair. Between my Mother and I we have purchased 5 or 6 Calista Profecters and I have recommended to many people who ask about my hair. This is the first time it has only lasted 14 months. I only use it once per week, am very careful with the cord, and clean after each use. A flashing 'E1' is showing in the temp window and it no longer heats up. I have attempted to appeal to Calista to do something for me (a good and loyal customer). However, their response was, 'The unit will need to be replaced', with no other direction. I believe this means they will do nothing to make this situation right. What would appease me would be to offer a replacement or at the very least offer a deep discount in order for me to purchase a new one. I'm sure they don't intend their product only to last 14 months. If that's the norm, then this product is not worth replacing. I would love to update this review with 5 stars based on how Calista responds to my appeal.

I had a very old version of this hot brush and loved it…. This new one works just as good.

Returned this itemThe cost is ouragous for the outcome of this device/iron .. I have seen this item on TV and watch the videos before purchasing , My home curling iron gives me just as good a result .....

purchased in 2023 and now in 2025 .....less than two years the Calista is flashing F1. Not heating and continuing to flash F1. I don't know what that means, if it can be fixed OR if it's broken.
