A book to treasure and to give to all your greatest friends....
In her latest poignant collection, "Wild Hope," Donna Ashworth weaves a fabric so rich with the threads of human experience that one cannot help but feel wrapped up in its truth. Like a close hug from a friend or a warm blanket and cup of hot chocolate. It's a book that captures the flickering flame of hope, a wild and untamed thing that refuses to be extinguished, even by the fiercest winds of life’s trials.Hope, as Ashworth illustrates, is not a passive wish whispered into the night; it's a living, breathing creature that dwells within the chambers of the heart, stubborn in its persistence. Her words do not simply speak; they dance, they cry, they laugh. They reach into the well of our collective spirit and draw up something clear and pure—a reflection of our deepest yearnings and joys.In the heartbeat of this collection lies 'Great Friends', a poem that resonates with her spirit of connection and triumph over tribulation. It doesn’t just talk about friendship; it celebrates the very notion of it. The poem is a tribute to those great friends, the ones who become our chosen family, our companions in the grand adventure of life.Ashworth understands that great friends are the mirrors that remind us of who we truly are when the world has dulled our shine. They are the whispers of courage when fear has stolen our voice. They are the architects of our laughter and the custodians of our tears."Wild Hope" is more than a book; it’s a companion for those moments when the light seems a mere memory. It tells us that hope, much like a great friend, will sit with us in the darkness and whisper of the light that is to come.Donna Ashworth doesn’t just offer poems; she extends a hand clad in the velvet glove of empathy. For anyone who has felt the tremors of loss, the weight of despair, or the ache of longing, "Wild Hope" is a testament to the resilience that is woven into our souls. It’s a reminder that in face of kindness, we open our hearts and the very need for resilience falls away. So, take this book. Let it sit on your shelf, lie on your table, but more importantly, let it live in your life. For in the days when hope feels like a distant concept, you will find it nestled within these pages, waiting to greet you like an old friend, ready to remind you that hope, wild and unwavering as the wild flowers on a calm Spring day, is always there. If you haven’t already guessed. I loved every poem and cherished every sentiment and I think you will too.

Healing in words.
I bought a copy of this book for myself initially... l Lost my mum in August 2023. I follow you on Instagram and your words have helped. This book called to me when I was deep in grief. After reading it I knew my 2 sisters would feel the same, so I bought another 2 copies to give them a copy each. Our mum was someone who believed in kindness in words and deeds. Her most used phrase when we were growing up..... If you can't say anything nice then say nothing. She reminded us all the time how important words are. Kindness costs nothing. Words should hold you up not harm you or anyone else. There is a gentleness in your words. They have feelings we all go through, but they give you strength to know this to shall pass. Life with its ups and downs does get better. There are others out there who know and understand and can empathise. You are one of those. Never doubt how much your heartfelt sentiments, put into your words, matter to the people who read them and need them. Thank you. Keep doing what you do. ❤️xxx

Beautiful writing - full of hope and life wisdom
I love this book - it’s the third book I have bought of Donna’s - it came out in a year I was facing my dear brother’s end of life. I have read something from it at random most days. It is uplifting, poignant and profound. Words from one soul to another soul reminding of simple wisdoms or sharing of common human experiences that are welcome and, for me, were so needed to help to hold hope in my heart and lift my spirit. I love the way Donna writes complex life truths and reflections in beautiful and accessible ways and the flow to these pieces is gorgeous. She has an amazing gift. It has for me helped me find hope on some dark and difficult days and continues to do that on easier days - is there really any day in any of our lives where it is not essential to have a bit of ‘wild hope’ ? Thank you Donna for creating this.

Hardback grey cover book. A beautiful and uplifting creation from the wonderful Donna Ashworth. I keep this book out on the coffee table so I'm more inclined to reach for it and read a daily poem. There is always something that speaks to me no matter which page I open. A lovely gift for anyone navigating difficulties around loss and grief.
