I needed to replace a wash basin plug, so I opted for a pop up unit rather than the old push rod version that had broken. For its price you can't go wrong, it's well made, with a clean design and is easy to fit - I used a little silicone sealer on each side of the basin to be safe. The basin is in constant use and has been put through its paces already after only two weeks - no leaks! I would recommend this unit to anyone needing to replace or update their basin plug.

AWESOME! I'm no plumber and I had to order a tool to remove the old unit before fitting this replacement myself - it was e-a-s-y, no leaks and it and it looks GREAT!! So far, so good - well worth the money!!

This item did NOT seal without me using some Aquafix to fix the leaks. It seems OK now. You can buy Aquaseal here on Amazon.
