Q: Is this done for bare mdf cupboard doors and does it act as sealant as well? So i can just use this and then finishing paint on top?

Yes - you could use it but not the best. A better product would be a primer which is specifically designed and developed for priming and sealing MDF. Some decorating professionals prefer to use a specific solvent based primer on MDF but you would need to allow extra drying time. Hope this helps. Best regards. Keith.

Q: Can this paint be sprayed on to surfaces if i thin it down with polyurethane thinners

Hi, This product can be thinned down with no more than 10% clean water to allow it to be sprayed. Hope that helps. Kind Regards, Helen

Q: Can you use on plasterboard

Yes it could be used on plasterboard but best to apply a plasterboard sealer first to minimise the absorbency of the board. Contract grade emulsion would do the job just as well.

Q: Can this be used to prevent 'flashing' from using filler to fill cracks in paintwork on interior walls?

Yes I have used this for the same purpose, Just make sure you sand down the filler properly getting rid of any high spots, (Otherwise you'll see bumps after you apply your paint) , Brush on with a brush or roller this drys really quickly so you can give it a second going over if you get any flashing coming through. Coverage

This undercoat is a game changer for me, I hate painting as a rule as I never seem to have a satisfactory finish, but I ordered this and used it as stated and it is amazing, brilliant coverage and the top coat has a good base to grip to, it covers small gaps and cracks it can be used on woodwork and plastered walls and acts like a filler paint, it has a thick consistency but I’ve had no cracking or shrinkage, I’ve just ordered a second tin as I’ve been on a painting frenzy and used the first one up. This is definitely my go to paint from now on.

Not used yet but seems legit product so fingers crossed.Extra tape on top of tin to ensure seal during delivery and packaged really well.

a great product for covering MDF

A good fast delivery service ,the paint is a good thickness and covers well, my application was over fresh MDF which needed sealing. All I can say is do not pick up with just the handle alone, support under the tin as one side of the handle came out, luck was that I still had the lid on. Otherwise a great product- will buy again.
