First thing is to disinfect the roller. This can be done by submerging the head in rubbing alcohol and then allowing to dry. I’ve also read you can use a denture cleaner as well. I gently rolled my skin though I wasn’t sure how much pressure to apply. It did not hurt but could feel it. Only time will tell if I see any improvements. All in all, I think this is a good product.
