Very easy to install grips with this tape.
Worked really well, and much easier than the tape that came with the grips I had ordered. Was able to easily adjust the grip after it was slid on to the shaft. Would definitely order again.

Golf grip double sided tape.
Perfect for my diy club grip replacements. It’s easy to install and a better choice than precut tape because of different lengths of grips. Good quality for the price that would be more than enough for a set of clubs.

Double-Sided Tape: Golf Grip Success
This double-sided tape was perfect for my golf grips. I DIY'd them months ago, and they're still holding strong!

Thin, hard to apply, and adhesive failed after 2 months
I've read good things about Wedge Guys products so I thought I'd give their grip tape a try. Price was decent and since I grip ~200 clubs a year the cost works out a little better compared to the pre-cut Brampton brand strips I usually use.Have to say I'm really disappointed. First, the tape itself feels a little on the thin side -- no big deal but thought I'd mention it. Second -- and this is true of all tape rolls, not just Wedge Guys -- it's a pain to remove the backing for the adhesive side. I needed magnifying readers to see the thin gap between tape and backing, then had to use the tip of a razor to separate the two. Got better at it over time, but what a pain in the behind. But the most disappointing issue is that the adhesive failed after about 60 days. At first I noticed some slippage/twisting at the butt end of my wedges, then on all of my clubs. Got so bad that I couldn't trust how securely my left (upper) hand gripped any of my clubs. Decided to re-grip all of them; all it took was some twisting in my hands (no vise, no solvent, no grip removal tool) to pull these grips off my clubs. Turns out the adhesive failed on both sides -- grip side and shaft side -- on all 13 clubs. I used the same tape to re-grip my buddy's irons and they're starting to fail, too.Given the other positive reviews I have to believe I got a bad roll. But there's no way I'd use this tape again -- just too much hassle to use without the confidence that it'll hold over time. I'll spend a little more and go back to the Brampton strips that are easy to install and have treated me well for years.
