Perfect fit and worked as it should.
This is not a part you want to change twice. I was very glad it fit my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 (5.7L) and worked as it should.

Cleared a powertrain code on my Hemi
I rebuilt a Hemi and had the misfortune of getting some foreign object debris in it that polluted the oil. I ended up with a recurring cam error code. After an oil change and this, that cleared the error code. This was a good value, I didn't want to use a non-name brand for this.

Fixes p0008 error code. not easy install
Watch the A-1 parts install video on youtube for a ram 1500 install. i didnt remove the alternator and made it work just fine. there are a couple connectors that are a pain to remove but other than that, its not bad, just time consuming

DIDN'T LAST OVER A COUPLE MONTHS
INSTALLED IN NOVEMBER 2023. ERROR CODE REMAINED AFTER I INSTALLED IT AND CHANGED MY OIL. TERRIBLE JOB TO DO TWICE. NEW ONE IS IN AND CODE IS GONE.

The screens on the oe part are prone to failure this has an updated design to prevent that.
