Gave these to 7-year old twin boys and they were obsessed with them. Loved opening every morning, learning about the stones and collecting them.

This was a great set that my 9-year-old who loves rocks/gems enjoyed. For the price I paid of $20, I would say it was worth it.Two things to be aware of:1.) There are 12 different stones. Each one comes two ways (polished/cubic & natural/rough). They come in order - so if Day 7 is the smooth amethyst, Day 8 will be the rough amethyst. Therefore every other day the recipient will know what stone they are going to open.2.) On Day 25 you get a “necklace” to put a stone in. The necklace only wraps around the stone one way though, so it can easily fall out. I encouraged my kiddo to not wear it out and about or we may never see that particular stone again.

Spoiler alert so stop ready if you don’t want to know the stones…my daughter loved getting a raw version and then a tumbled version of each stone. Had more unique stones that other kits/advent calendar stones have had.

I’ve never seen such garbage English on anything in my entire life. This clearly came from the third world and it shows. I attached a picture that’s just laughable in its mistakes. That aside, the crystal quality is mediocre. The order is kind of disappointing too and not random or fun.

I am always looking for something fun for Christmas. My adult daughter loved this Advent Calendar. She sent me a picture of each crystal she opened. It was fun for both of us.
