M WATCH Swiss Made Aero Men's Pilot's Watch, Luminous Hands, Black Dial, Day Date, Black Leather Strap

I only picked this watch up today, so this is a first impressions review and will by updated later if needed.I have a soft spot for Mondaine because of the easy readability, this watch is not sold as a Mondaine but as am M Watch, but it is made by them in Switzerland and even has the Mondaine Ltd on the case back. I guess the 'M' brand is designed to differentiate these watches from the Swiss railway heritage that that Mondaine has. It looks to be in the more affordable price range too.Delivery was quick to my pick up point, The packaging was basic but no damage. Once free of the Amazon packaging the watch was contained in a cardboard box in another box. Not a premium presentation here but I guess this is to keep the price down. How often do we return a watch to the original packaging though (oddly I do tend to keep the original boxes, maybe I should re-think this) , not a problem at all for me but for those who want to order it as a gift for someone else you may want to take this into consideration. The included warranty is the only paperwork you get. Setting the time and date is the same as most regular analogue watches though.The watch itself looks fantastic, it is on the larger side as per the spec on Amazon but is light for the size.Like its Mondaine branded sisters it is super easy to read and the real leather band is for once very comfortable out of the box unlike some other watches I have that have taken some time to bed in. The band is also long enough to easily fit much larger wrists than mine. The lume is very good for the price as well.Initial conclusion.Pros:Extremely easy to readGreat contrast between the light colour hands (including the second hand) and the dark face.Brushed finish stainless steel case and much lighter than you would expect for the size.The supplied band is comfortable right out of the box.Lume is very good. Non of my Mondaine Swiss railway watches have any lume at all.Cons:Watch box is basic but you should take into account the purchase price and that it's a made in Switzerland by Mondaine.Day and date are obscured at 15 minutes past the hour by the minute hand like virtually all analogue time pieces. Now I'm being very picky.I need to assess the accuracy and the general living with it so in time and I will update this review if needed.UPDATE: After a week the watch has gained around 1/2 a second against radio controlled clock and watches. I'm still very pleased with my purchase. I will update further if needed.

Gut verarbeitet, aber Datumsanzeige zu klein. Sekundenzeiger leider nicht genau auf Sekunde, leuchtet nachts sehr gut.
