Nice train set for around the Christmas tree. It is bigger than I expected but as long as you have the room it is a great addition to the Christmas tree. The smoke feature is pretty cool, it makes enough smoke that it's noticble and all you do is add a little water. Any kid that loves trains will love this!

Very lightweight and cheaply made train. It works well enough and track fits together easy. I got this for holiday decor and seems perfect for that. At this quality I highly doubt it would hold up to play from a child for very long but makes great decor.

Nice train set! Easy to use and assemble. However, the cargo latch on a train engine broke and was not able to carry the other cargo after my son dropped. Nevertheless, it is still fun to play with. I like having the option to turn the volume on/off.

Had this around our tree and it was so nostalgic! The kids loved it and really enjoyed the steam feature! Assembly was so easy and the locking pieces were very efficient! The sound was easily turned on or off. I am so glad to have this as a new tradition for our family holidays!

The tracks are not as long as I wanted but it fit perfectly under one of my trees. Real steam comes out and no directions except what's on back of box so, don't throw the box away. You will need your kids to set the train and cars properly on the track as I can't do it because of my clumsiness. Yeah I get 2 cars lined up n not the rest so if the kids wanna see it run then they can line it up. Pretty good vision to see the grandbabies sit and stare in wonder as it rounds the tracks. Price point is perfect for small train set. Delivery was on time and setup was easy if you take time to read. Lol

This train set came without instructions in the box. That said, it was intuitive enough to put the track together. There are some images on the outside of the box that may serve as instructions? The train’s light, horn, and movement around the track is good. This version requires 4 AA batteries. After putting water in the steam spout, we couldn’t get it to generate steam. Not sure if it will just take time for it to heat up enough to create steam? Also was not sure how much water to add and am assuming we added it to the right place? The little plastic bottle is tricky to fill. Overall, this train is functional and rides around the track like you would expect. Whether steam ever comes out is still to be determined.

This is exactly what I was looking for! It fits perfectly around the base of our christmas tree and my kids love sitting and watching it go around and around. It did not come with any instructions at all, so it took a bit to figure out how to put the track pieces together and secure them with the little caps provided. It takes 4AA batteries which are not included. The train and cars sit on top of the tracks and then the switch on top of the engine turns it on and off. It can get a little complicated when the train is already on and you want to turn it off because you have to flip the switch while it's moving and it's almost impossible to turn it off while keeping the train on the tracks. Most of the time when flipping the switch while it's moving the train comes off the tracks then you have to try and set it back on the tracks which is hard to do.
