No, it can sit on top of your head pretty well though. My fiance puts it over him to play with our daughter, but is not a hat.

Not Wide at all. I would pass on this Item. I was hoping for the rug to be able to fit two comfortably. I barely fit.

No I used it for a tale gate table topper. Looked great but it would have to have a rug pad if putting it on hardwood floor
