Sturdy and Functional for price!
I LOVE my sewing desk. It took about 1-2 hours for my boyfriend to put together on his own but he said the instructions were easy to follow (he did speed the process up with a drill vs doing it all by hand) Its sturdy and I love that it's on wheels. The fold up part stays up well - only downside is that putting the door in you have to hold the top up all the way or it scratches but its so minor it's not a real issue. I also wish it had a pop up for the sewing machine but this is a great option with the shelf below for when I'm in a sewing slump and don't want my machine on top. Only regret is I wish I got the gray lol

Nicely engineered product.
Good quality piece of furniture. Grandson did most of the assembly with my instruction. Took about 3 hours but was very careful not to miss any detail. Wife is very pleased with this sewing table.

Nice table for the price, best constructed with two people
I did not give this five stars even though I really like the table, just because some parts were missing (screw lock and one screw), but even still it went together well and is a nice little table. I will say, though, it is very hard to put together alone. Two people would have been better. additionally the magnets that hold the doors are not strong enough to hold the doors closed, so I will have to add a latch to remedy this. If you are looking for a solid, space saving, attractive sewing unit at an affordable price then this table fits the bill.

I love this sewing table!
This is a GREAT little sewing table. I live on a farm filled with red clay dust and have 7 dogs, and being able to close everything up to keep the dust and dog hair off everything was super important, and this does just that! And the blue color is simply adorable! My son in law had this put together in about an hour, maybe a little bit longer, but it didnt take him long at all. There's a nice amount of storage in it and I have nearly all my fabric for various quilt projects (of various sizes) stored in there, along with thread, and other notions, my pattern binder, etc.One feature I WISH it had, and for me its fine, as my sewing machine is on another table, and I use the top for this for my pressing mat, so its not a big deal, is that I wish the top dropped down and was adjustable to make the machine even with the table. As I said, for me, its not a big deal (I would have bought a different table if it had been) but it would be a super nice feature for those who are really tight on space)Another thing that would be nice is that currently you HAVE to have the wheels on it to open/close the doors. Even if its in a stationary location (as mine is). Originally I did not have my son in law put the wheels on it, we were just going to leave them off, but then we realized we couldnt open and close the doors with ease if we did that. we could have added some wood blocks under it to solve the issue, but... why... when we have the wheels. so he put them on. Adding just a BIT of height to the bottom would solve that and make it so the wheels are optional.I'm not taking any stars off for either item- I knew the top didnt drop down and the wheels, well, many people are probably getting this BECAUSE it has wheels and can be moved!

Solid built and easy easy directions!
So I have built ALOT of various build it yourself pieces of furniture. Bookshelves, small end tables, desks etc. etc. This sewing table was, by far, the easiest. Hands down! Directions were great and easy to follow. They basically have you build the different components to the desk first, then piece it all together. Easy peasy.1st…I would suggest you do not use a drill. If you have a magnetic Phillips screw driver that would be best.2nd…. Do not over tighten the cam lock’s. Tighten the screws just to tight, NOT super tight. You will end up stripping the screw hole or cam lock hole.3rd……As you put the unit together, put the not used (as you build) screws and pieces back in the bag as you go. It will make a HUGE difference while you build and are looking for the coinciding letter on the bag that goes with the building step. Sure it’s a little more time consuming, but you will thank me later.4th…. You will need to find an open area to build it in. Lay it all out with the coinciding letters on the pieces up so they’re easy to find as you build.5th…. Have another person handy as you go further into the build to help you lift it. Some steps of the build will require you to move things around. A second person can prove to be invaluable. All in all I was very impressed with the quality. As you put a few screws or cam lock screws in their holes you will experience a little paint chipping. No big deal as it’s just lightly around the holes. And it is certainly not a deal breaker. My wife loves the desk. And one final note: There are a lot of questions in regard to the folding table top and how sturdy it is. It is solid and does not give away or bend. That being said I wouldn’t stand on it or let children play on it.We love this desk!

Upgrades made it perfect
I replaced the handles and added wallpaper to liven it up a bit. Pretty easy to put together!

You get what you pay for
So far, it’s been good using the table. The quality of the screws and metal hinges are weak. The hinges bend way too easily. It has still held up, but you can feel the table swaying when you put pressure on it.Still a good price for what you get. Just gotta be general with the table. Also, I recommend using a power drill to install the table. Using handheld tools was difficult and took way too long to install because the screws don’t fit the holes correctly. Power drill made it much easier.
