Ultimate Guard Deck Box: Sidewinder 80+ ChromiaSkin Blue

It was everything as advertised but I found a strange quirk with the color changing material I didn't expect. They change color in less than a second when exposed to a surface such as your hand, but that is predicated on a difference of temperature. Recently where I live it has been warmer than 80 degrees in my house and the boxes fade into their color 'changed' identity. They react to temperature change, no matter where it comes from. But the picture of the hand print on the box is very accurate. I bought three boxes, red, green, blue. So far the RED has performed the best... showing 'resilience' in so far as even when the air temp is 85 degrees it still shows a noticeable color change. The green and blue Chroma boxes have fully switched colors at 77 degrees. I hope that makes sense. They change colors because of the ambient air temp. Once the temperature gets to about 72 degrees they reset. But again, if you're at a 70 degree room temp and you grab your box for a moment you will see the color change that is displayed in the pictures immediately. It is pretty dramatic (and a little creepy). Other than that... they are very well built and I trust the magnet clasp. They feel solid and purpose built for playing MTG or whatever your CCG is.

Ordered this to house two Yu-Gi-Oh! decks. Deck box perfectly fits two 40-card decks with 15-card extra decks or one full 40-card deck along with full extra & side decks with excess room for tokens, field centers, etc. if you’re used to Ultimate Guard, it has the standard magnetic flap that’s easy and satisfying to open and close.

Loved the heat changing aspect of this box. The magnetic clasp is very strong. The colors in the pictures are actually accurate. I will be buying the Teal colored one soon.

Works wonderully. Sometimes dragonshield sleeve corners catch a tiny bit on the microfiber interior when inserting, but theyre just pointy. No real complaints so far, color change is cool and materials are high quality, good shape, i like the horizontal.

Really good box overall but the big selling feature doesnt work in room temperature. It will stay a light blue until its 70f or lower.

Ordered for my son. He loves it and received compliments on it all the time. I will buy more.
